Then there appeared to them tongues as of fire, which
parted and came to rest on each one of them. And they
were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in
different tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to proclaim.
Pentecost: This weekend we celebrate the birthday of
the Church as the Holy Spirit gathers the disciples and
sends them forth on mission to the ends of the earth.
Pentecost reminds us that we are a Church on mission.
With the help of the Holy Spirit, let us seek to give wit-
ness to Christ and help those around us to seek the Lord.
May God bless and guide our discipleship!

RESPECT LIFE Baby Bottle Drive:
Our annual baby bottle drive will be held from Mother's Day to Father's Day. Please pick up a baby bottle af-
ter Mass on Mother's Day; decide how your family will fill it; then, return it on or before Father's Day. We accept loose change, bills and checks made out to St. Robert’s Respect Life Proceeds go to local pro-life pregnancy centers and pro-life efforts in our area. Thanks for your generous support!
Be Transformed
“People who pray regularly before the Blessed Sacrament become more tranquil, more patient, more charitable, and more forgiving. Ac-tually, they become more holy. No matter what attracts people to come to Eucharistic Adoration, many are learning that prayer before the Blessed Sacrament can and will transform them and make them more like Christ.” (Cardinal Anthony Bevilacqua).
Eucharistic Adorers are welcome anytime to pray before the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle, but are especial-ly needed each week on Tuesdays. Please call Renee Shaw at 659-5469 or email [email protected] to sign-up for an hour that works for you. Every Friday, there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament in the Mon-strance following the 8:30 a.m. Mass until Benediction at 5:30 pm. Please come and pray with your family! Extra adorers are always needed in the church on Fridays to ensure the Blessed Sacrament is not left alone.

Hello! Since Fr. Gordon Reigle has
been gracious enough to allow me
to stay at St. Robert Bellarmine this
coming summer, I wanted to intro-
duce myself to the parish. My name
is Michael Cassar, and I have just
completed my fourth year at semi-
nary. I was born the second of three
children into a Lutheran family in
Ypsilanti, MI. While in college at
Eastern Michigan University, I became convinced that
the fullness of truth was contained by the Catholic
Church. Shortly after, I entered the Church. I was fortu-
nate enough to make good Catholic friends who were far
more devout than I was, and who began inviting me to
daily Mass and Eucharistic Adoration. Eventually, the
thought occurred to me that I could become a priest. I, of
course, dismissed this thought. Yet, it continued to return
to me, becoming more and more serious. I contacted a
priest whom I trusted, and with his guidance, and contin-
ued prayer, I determined that I was being called by God
to the seminary. I want to thank everyone for the kind-
ness that they have shown me, and I ask for everyone’s
prayers. If you have any questions at all or want to talk
about anything don’t hesitate to flag me down. Oh, also, I
will be periodically writing something for the bulletin
during my summer here so keep an eye out for that.
Thank you!
Michael
