A message from the Headmaster
Tim Browning, Headmaster
Welcome from Tim Browning
I am delighted to share the combined results achieved by our Year 12 cohort in 2018, studying either the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program.
48 percent of our Year 12s gained a university entrance score of 90 and above placing them in the top 10 percent in Australia. 75 percent gained a score of 80 and above, placing them in the top 20 percent in Australia. As a School we are proud of their efforts and achievements. They reflect the incredible determination of students, the tireless support of their families, and the passion and skill of our staff at St Peter’s College.
Among the students there were many exceptional individual achievements in both courses.
Each student is on their own unique and personal learning journey and I hope every student is proud of what they have achieved. We look forward to hearing from the students as they begin their journey into adulthood, careers and other life-changing adventures.
Tim Browning,
Headmaster

Students must achieve an A+ in a subject to earn a Merit but not all A+ grades are awarded a Merit. Merits are given sparingly and only to the very highest achievers of A+ students, as determined by the SACE Board.
