A Letter from Father Wencil My Dear Sisters and Brothers,
The term “church” has been used since Grecian times referring to an assembly of “privileged” people. In the Bible, Matthew references this word as the community that Jesus will gather and that, like a building, will have Peter as its solid foundation; and that community of followers of Jesus is indeed a privileged people!
On August 29, 2009, Daniel Cardinal Di Nardo dedicated our new church at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. Here we come individually and as the spiritual family that we are, to hear the Word of God, pray, celebrate sacraments, participate in celebrations of Eucharist and have our own quiet reflections with our holy Father. Here in this holy structure we have memories of sharing joys, through sacred celebrations -- Masses, Baptisms, First Communions, Confirmations, Weddings, sendings to receive Holy Orders, as well as tears, strengthening and comfort experienced thru Confessions, Anointing of the Sick and Funeral Rites.
Truly we are blessed as our parish Declares the Glory of God in this holy place. As we journey with Christ it is here that we join to receive God’s Grace and learn to extend this same Grace in our families, to each other and to others in our communities. I hope you will join me in celebrating this Anniversary of our spiritual Home and celebrating each other, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ.

Adult Ministry and Faith Formation: Because our faith is too rich and too beautiful to have ever learned it all…
Adult faith formation at St Paul the Apostle Catholic Church is centered around the understanding that living “The Way” taught by Jesus Christ is a life-long, evolving journey, involving both effort and
decision. To enable adults to explore the faith and deepen their knowledge of God’s Word, we provide many opportunities to come together in a learning environment. As a diverse community with a small parish feel, we know it is important to walk that journey with others and to share what we have learned along the way.
