PICTORIAL DIRECTORY

We are going to have a new pictorial directory coming soon and we want your picture

there. The dates pictures will be taken are: November 21 and 22 from 1:00-9:00,

November 30 from 10:00 - 6:00 and December 1 from 1:00 - 9:00. Beginning October

30, we will have someone in the Narthex, after both services, to schedule your

appointment.

Every family will receive a directory and an 8 by 10 of their directory pose. A directory

is a powerful tool to help us put names and faces together and become a closer knit

church community. Be thinking about these dates and, remember, we will have more

information coming in the next few weeks.

Join us for Trunk R Treat on Wednesday, October 26th at 6:00 pm. We are

side the fellowship hall.

Mixed Blessings class room. Most insurance companies give a discount for participation. The cost

is $15 for AARP members, $20 for non members and you will pay when you attend the class.

Bring a sack lunch and the church will provide tea and water. Dead line for signing up is Novem-

ber 9th. Sign up sheets will be in the Narthex or you may call the church office.

October is stewardship month and one of the things we are focusing on, is the Food Pantry. We

are asking the congregation to bring 2 items each Sunday and a $1 donation. There will be three

baskets on the altar for the items and money to be placed. At the end of the month, we will cele-

brate all we have given!

October 16 Soap and Dishwashing Detergent

October 23 Laundry Detergent and Toilet Tissue—Next Sunday

St. Paul United Methodist Church Twenty-second Sunday after Pentecost (Green)

October 16, 2016 8:45 & 11:00 am Rev. Geoff Grubbs, Pastor

Good morning,

I hope you are doing great today. In our journey as a church we should

oen pause for just a minute and spend me thanking God for this place.

The world we live in, not perfect, but a place I love. We should be thank-

ful for all our many blessings. I count each of you as one of my blessings.

Thank you for being here today.

Blessings,

Geoff
