storymobile

An extension of the Saint Paul Almanac, the Storymobile will be taken throughout St. Paul—to various events this summer—to collect stories and create a living history of the people living here.

Once collected and approved for release (by the storyteller), the Saint Paul Almanac will submit the oral or written accounts to the St. Paul Public library where

they’ll be stored and live on for future generations to read and hear.

storymobile promotion

The Storymobile’s summer promotion is The Summer Sound Off. It’s an anthem and it’s an invite. Through promotions, we’ll let people know that the Storymobile is coming to collect their story—giving an opportunity to sound off about the stories that matter to them.

We’ll be promoting the Summer Sound Off with posters, promotional items and on social media. In addition, we’ll deliver messages on sidewalks in and around the events we’ll be at this summer. We’ll:

create interest/intrigue, and

reveal the location and date so folks in the area know where to show up and sound off

storymobile swag

The following items can be sold or handed out for free at each Storymobile event this summer. The theme is consistent and each of the items is something that could be used, stuck, placed, or worn to keep the Storymobile experience and the message of the Summer Sound Off in sight and in mind on a daily basis.
