Should my child come into school?
New Cheshire East guidance states that if anyone in your household tests positive then your child must limit social contacts, stay away from school for a minimum of 5 days and arrange to have a PCR test. If the test
results are positive then you are required to isolate by law.
Our current school risk assessment states that any child displaying any symp-toms of Covid (raised temperature, cough, loss of taste or smell, sore throat,
runny nose, generally feeling under the weather), must not attend school. If your child displays any of these symptoms, please book a Covid test and isolate until the results come back. Once a negative result is ob-tained, your child may return only if they are fit and well and do not need paracetamol/ibuprofen. If your child does need paracetamol or ibuprofen in the morning for any reason, please do not bring them into
school.
Happy Birthday to you
Happy birthday to Will, Alba, Maddie and Miss
Holdsworth. We hope you all have a
wonderful day. With all our love from your St Oswald’s Family

Samaritan’s Purse Christmas Shoebox Appeal
This year, at St Oswald’s, we would like to support the Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Appeal (Operation Christmas Child). This is an opportunity to create a shoebox full of toys and small necessities for a child who may otherwise not receive any presents this year. The Appeal was started to create as many shoeboxes as possible which are then delivered to children around the world for Christmas.
If possible, we would love for you to join us in supporting this fantastic charity by creating a shoebox with your child. A letter has been emailed today in which you will find all the information you should need about what can go into your shoebox as well as how you can support this charity. If you click the link below it will provide you with the opportunity to order shoeboxes if you are struggling to get hold of any and provide you with all further information.
We would then ask that children bring their shoeboxes into school between the 15th-22nd of November ready to be collected.
