Rising toward our Goal
We are making great progress toward our AAA goal, and pledges promise to surpass our goal by thousands of dollars. We've raised $120,573 and need just $11,382 to meet our archdiocesan tax with a complete total of $17,677 in unful-filled pledges. I cannot thank our parishioners enough for this newfound dedication to meeting our AAA tax goal. For the first time in recorded history, we have made and surpassed our goal each of the three years I have been your pastor. Thanks to the profits from our last Carnival and the surplus from AAA 2016 and 2017, we recently remodeled and redecorated our beautiful Ward Hall. We are currently discerning how best to use the promised proceeds from another AAA surplus in 2018 and a very successful Carnival in the Spring of 2019. So save these dates: AAA 2018 pledges are due by December 31, 2018 Carnival 2019 is scheduled for the weekend of May 4-5, 2019 Msgr. John Talesfore, Pastor

Dear parishioners, The Gabriel Project ministry, serving the needs of pregnant women, has been in operation for almost 9 years here at St Matthew’s. Our sincere grati-tude to Msgr. Talesfore for again permitting a
second collection this weekend, October 13/14th. We serve all pregnant mothers in need through the 24-hour helpline (800-910-2848) and extend our help to non-pregnant moms as well. Our clients have many and varied needs including emotional support, baby items, financial assistance, help accessing pre-natal care etc. Your financial contributions help build a Culture of Life, One Mom and One Family at a time.
