All of you remember the annual Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive. The donations received are used for a specific purpose: to provide funding for programs
that assist those who are developmentally handicapped in some way. The people in our parish and in our community have been very generous in their support. This Tuesday we will witness one of the fruits of that generosity: the annual pizza party for over 200 special needs folks from this area. They so much look forward to the pizza, soft drinks, cake and ice cream. Thank you to all the Knights who helped with this project. It is only one example of the many charitable programs provided by the Knights. May I again invite all men of the parish who are not Knights to consider membership in this organization. The goal is not only spiritual enrichment, but to give Catholic men an opportunity for fraternity and a deepening of their faith. If any Catholic man in the parish might have a question or interest, please give me a call. My prayers are with you each day. ~ Fr. Mike.

Lord’s Laughter What did 0 say to 8? “Nice belt.” Why did Beethoven get rid of his chickens? All they said was, “Bach, Bach, Bach ...” And his cows preferred Moo-zak. C, E-flat, and G walk into a bar. The bartender shows them the door and says, “Sorry, we don’t serve minors.” A photon is going through airport security. The TSA agent asks if he has any luggage. The photon says, “No, I’m traveling light.”
