It’s great to see a range of articles in this first edition, celebrating our students making the most of their God-given gifts and talents, often in the service of others. I am pleased to see that our Remembrance Service, back in November, features in the first edition. As ever, both the work students undertook in class, in the lead up to Remembrance Day, as well as the Service itself, were moving and thought provoking experiences for all of us. I would also like to pass on my congratulations to our Sixth Formers who successfully completed the service-orientated John Paul II Award. It is good to see their work recognised and featuring in the Newsletter. May I thank everyone connected with the school for your continued support for our work, as we strive to give every student an excellent holistic education here at St Mary’s.
