CRIB DONATIONS: £464.60 was collected in the outside crib for the Gloucester and District Samaritans and £146 for the Clifton Children’s Society in the inside crib. Thank you. LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINARS: Starting on Thursday 16th February in the church, and running for 7 Thursdays throughout Lent. Our first speaker is David Payne, one of the best speakers in the Catholic Church in the UK today. Please take a leaflet at the back of the church for more details. FRIENDS OF ST PETER’S: Will be collecting the Annual Membership Fees this weekend 21st/22nd January & next weekend 28th/29th January. We thank you for your continued support. FILM CLUB: By popular request, the first Wednesday Film Club will start again on Wednesday 1st February in the social club. The film showing is ‘The Way’, starring Martin Sheen. Doors open at 7pm, film starts at 7.30pm. Details of films up to May on noticeboard. RETIREMENT CLUB: Next meeting is on Wednesday 15th February at 1.00pm in the Social Club Hall. Annual Subs will be taken up (£5) so please bring your membership card. EL SHADDAI: The Gloucester Cell of El Shaddai celebrates its 7th Anniversary next Saturday January 28th. As part of the celebrations taking place that day Canon Liam will be celebrating a mass of thanksgiving in church at 12.30pm to which all parishioners are invited and welcome to attend. FIRST HOLY COMMUNION: The children who have applied to make their First Holy Communion this year have now begun their preparation programme.
