BERKSHIRE RECORDER CONSORT

with Jeremy Rowe (counter-tenor)

The breadth of recorder repertoire from early music to the present day is demonstrated in an attractive programme, which also has accompanied songs for counter-tenor, including some to celebrate the 450th anniversary of John Dowland’s birth.

St. Luke’s Church’s own organist plays works by Walther, Walond, Cesar Franck, and Vaughan Williams. An array of music for cello and piano is provided by Bach, Scarlatti, Saint-Saens, Strauss, Faure, and others.
