St. Jude’s compassion ministry has provided over 500 prayer shawls and afghans. Thank you for all you do. You have been a blessing to

those who have received them. Keep them coming. Items may be dropped off at the church office and if you have any questions please call Mary Koorstad at 501.982.7961.

Would you like to have flowers placed at the altar in the sanctuary on weekends in memory of a loved one? If you are interested in doing so, please contact the church office at 501.982.4891. The donation to cover the weekly expense of placing the flowers is $100. The name(s) of the person(s) you are remembering will be placed in each week’s bulletin on the week the flowers are placed.

Mental Health Support Group

The St. Dymphna Society is a peer support group for people living with mental illness. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month at St. John Catholic Center. Mass is celebrated at 6:00, and the meeting directly follows. If a priest is not available, we pray the Rosary or hold a prayer service. For more information, call Rebecca Cargile at 664-0340 ext. 355. No reservations are necessary, and all are welcome!

Altar & Rosary (A&R) meets the second Tuesday every month at 6:30pm. They discuss Church and community service projects while enjoying refreshments. They have fun and enjoy interesting programs, as they get acquainted with other Parish women who become dear and faith encouraging friends who pray together. Meetings usually last a little over one hour. The next meeting will be March 17th.

Conway Catholic Campus Ministry seeks an Office Assistant to provide administrative support for fundraising efforts, to manage a critical data base, and to assist with donor relations and events. This is a part-time position that is scheduled for 19 hours per week and the job requirements include: Catholic, Microsoft Office and social media platform proficiency, office administrative experience, and the ability to maintain some regular daytime office hours and work occasional weekends and evenings. A bachelor or associate degree is preferred, but not required. Ash Wednesday Collection Wednesday, February 26, 2020

Your support of the Ash Wednesday collection will directly fund priests, nuns and others in ministry in our diocese who serve in parishes and communities that by themselves would be unable to cover their costs. One hundred percent of every dollar given to the Ash Wednesday collection is used to support missionary work that reaches out and serve Catholics in our own diocese. Please be as generous as you can when you give so that the great gift of our faith can be nourished among our Catholic brothers and sisters in all parts of our state. Thank you. Mount St. Mary Academy will host a Trivia Night fundraiser on Saturday, February 29, in the school’s McAuley Center Gymnasium (3224 Kavanaugh Blvd., Little Rock). Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; trivia begins at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person if registering in advance, or $25 at the door. Up to 10 people per team. Must be 21 years old to attend.
