SUNDAY MASS BEGINS AGAIN!
With Restrictions
Under the new state guidelines, we are, once again, ableto safely gather in our Church, with restrictions. Parishesmay reopen for weekend Masses with a congregation notto exceed 50 people. For your safety, all social distancingand sanitizing guidelines will be followed.
Our Church is now open for Daily Mass, in theChurch Chapel, during the week. Weekend Masseswill be celebrated on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., and onSunday at 10:30 a.m., with a Spanish Mass at 1:30p.m. We hope to continue to livestream the 10:30 a.m.Mass each Sunday.
It is important that we continue to protect the health ofall who are involved. This is especially the case for thosemost vulnerable, including the elderly and those withchronic illnesses. The dispensation from the obligation toattend Mass will remain in effect until further notice. Noone is required to participate in Mass during this time. While the obligation to attend Mass is dispensed, thefaithful who are not able to attend Mass in the Church areto keep the Lord's Day holy by some other means. Forexample, they should tune in to a livestreamed Mass, readand reflect on Sacred Scripture, pray the rosary, or someother devotion.
Look for regular updates from the Diocese of Metuchenat www.diometuchen.org/coronavirus or visit our Parishwebsite at www.stjosephparishfamily.com

All the Hairs of Your Head Are CountedAs we honor our fathers today, we hear Jesus reassure His
disciples by reminding them of the tender care of His HeavenlyFather. Our Heavenly Father watches over us assiduously, faithfully, lovingly; every hair on our heads is accounted for. Let us recall all the times our own fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures—living and deceased—made us feel safe andsecure with their vigilant care.Copyright © GIA Publications

We cannot tolerate or turn a blind eye to racism andexclusion in any form and yet claim to defend the sacrednessof every human life. ... At the same time, we have to recognizethat violence is self-destructive and self-defeating. Nothing isgained by violence and so much is lost. Let us pray forreconciliation and peace. -Pope Francis

HAPPY FATHER’S DAY!
WHAT MAKES A DAD
God took the strength of a mountain,
The majesty of a tree,
The warmth of a summer sun,
The calm of a quiet sea,
The generous soul of nature,
The comforting arm of night,
The wisdom of the ages,
The power of the eagle's flight,
The joy of a morning in spring,
The faith of a mustard seed,
The patience of eternity,
The depth of a family need.
Then God combined these qualities,
When there was nothing more to add,
He knew His masterpiece was complete,
And so, He called it ... DAD
A PRAYER FOR FATHERS

Grant that we, their sons anddaughters, may honor and appreciate them always with aspirit of profound respect. May the example and prayer ofSt. Joseph inspire them to live their vocation with courage. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

As believers, how can we fail to see thatabortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide are aterrible rejection of God's gift of life and love?
And as believers, how can we fail to feel theduty to surround the sick and those in distress with
the warmth of our affection and the support that will helpthem always to embrace life? -St. John Paul II
