Graduation is the name of the game! The closing of another school year

means a transition to the next steps for our St. Joseph Catholic School students.

The 8th grade students cel-ebrated their transition to high school last week with their

pinning ceremony held Thursday, May 17. Later that same day, high school students from St. Joseph

and from across the Bryan/College Station area gathered for the Baccalaureate Mass celebrated by Bishop Joe Vasquez at Christ the Good Shepherd Chapel. Friday, May 18 saw the graduation ceremony of the Class of 2018, a class which has, to date, been awarded over $495,000 in scholarships! And our kindergarten class, the future Class of 2030(!) graduated Thursday, May 24. The school year at the second-ary campus wound out with final exams this week, while the elementary campus finished with the end-of-year awards after a 10am Mass today, Friday, May 25. Congratulations to all of our students on a successful year of learning! And thank you

to all of our teachers, adminstrators, and staff for all of your hard work and care throughout the year. We offer a special thank you to Monsignor John McCaffrey as he retires as our Pastor this year. We are very blessed, though, to know that he will still be here as our Parish Priest to say Mass, hear our confessions, and be that loving, positive presence to St. Joseph Catholic School God bless, and have a very safe and fun summer!!
