Remember us, O God; from age to age be our comforter.
You have given us the wonder of time,
blessings in days and nights, seasons and years. Bless your children
at the turning of the year and fill the months ahead with the
bright hope that is ours In the coming of Christ.
You are our God, living and reigning,
forever and ever. Amen
from Catholic Household Blessings and Prayers
The staff of St Helen Parish pray God’s blessings on you in this coming year.
We are thankful for our parish family!
THANK YOU, ELLEN It is with both sadness and excitement that I share this news: I have accepted a position
in Campus Ministry at the University of Dayton and will be leaving St. Helen on January 11. I
start at UD on January 15, where I will be working as the Associate Director of Campus Min-
istry for Liturgy. It will take me out of music ministry, but I will still be near it, and am explor-
ing ways to keep music as a regular part of my life.
While I am incredibly sorry to leave so many wonderful people, the career opportuni-
ties and time gained with my family are just too much to pass up. The new position is a 10.5
month contract, giving me 6 weeks off each summer, as well as mostly 9-5 Monday through Friday. This is the
first time since I've had children that I won't have regular weekend and evening work, and we are greatly antici-
pating all the freedom this offers our family.
It has been such a privilege to accompany so many of you during my six years at St. Helen. Because of the
two positions I've had here, I've had the great honor of walking with many of you through all stages of life-- birth,
baptism, marriage, death, and literally everything in between. It feels both awe-some and humbling, and I am
grateful for my time with this community and all you have shared with me.
OUR SCHOOL CHILDREN AND
“LAS POSADAS” How beautiful!
Thank you to everyone who made this possible!

Fr. Satish for his wonderful funeral mass. We have
received so much positive feedback on your heartfelt
and loving words, but the welcoming of our non-

a blessing, sparked interest in our faith.
