THE DEPARTMENT OF LIFELONG LEARNING AND
EXTENSION
is one of the oldest and
premier universities in India. It is established in 1857. It
has two campuses at Vidyanagari, Santacruz (E) and
Fort, Sub-compuses / Centers at Ratnagiri, Thane and
Kalyan, with 60 University Departments and Institutes
and 749 affiliated Colleges.
It has been granted University with Potential for
Excellence (UPE) status by UGC. The University has
always given its best to the country in general and to
the city of Mumbai in particular by enthusiastically
shouldering and evergrowing load of social values and
opportunities.
[DLLE] (known earlier as Department of
Adult and Continuing Education and Extension)
established on 12th October, 1978 and has been
recognized as a statutory Department of the University
of Mumbai since 1994 to promote meaningful and
sustained rapport between the Universities and the
Community. The DLLE offers Continuing Education
Courses as a Teaching Department.
It conducts its scheduled academic activities such as
Extension work, online courses, National Institute of
Open Schooling and also the activities of Students
Counseling and E-learning Center as a part of its
academic responsibilities. The Department utilizes E-
industries services for the benefit of the students vide
its online courses. It has been conducting PG
programmes of M.phil. in Rural Development.
ST. GONSALO GARCIA COLLEGE OF ARTS &
COMMERCE,
is established by “Our Lady of Grace
Trust” in 1984. The College has regular B.A. and B.com
Degree Courses together with specialized self finance
courses like BMS, BBI, BAF, B.Sc. (IT), M.Sc. (IT),
M.com & MA (RD).
The College is Committed to the integrated
Development of youth for individual and societal
transformation. The vision of the college is to provide
the rural youth higher education, aimed at academic
excellence coupled with overall character formation
through moral, ethical and spiritual values, inculcating
the sprit of research and discovery, to orient in skills, to
ensure employment and self-sufficiency, through
various courses to enhance essential human resource
development for the overall improvement of life, which
leads to nation-building.
In today’s era of Global business, the ever proliferating
globalisation, competition and the hunger for quality
and productivity has contributed strikingly to change the
world business scenario.
The main motive of the conference it to create a global
platform where both academia as well as industrial
professionals can indulge in debates, discussions and
analyse the ongoing trends.
The Conference therefore may prove to be highly
interesting to the Financial Institutions, Bankers and
Corporates. It offers to teachers, students, managers,
financial institutions and others a rich fare of stimulating
ideas and new vision.
1) Abstract should describe the broad content of the paper
and should not be more than 300 words.
2) The length of the paper should not exceed 2500 words.
3) The paper has to be typed in Times New Roman, font 12
and 1.5 line spacing
4) The paper should be a word file with 1 and ½’’ margin on
the left and one inch margin on the right.
5) Manuscript should not exceed 6 pages including graphs,
tables and appendices.
6) The cover page of the manuscript must contain the title of
the paper, author’s name, mailing address, e-mail address
and acknowledgments, if any.
7) The cover page should not be a part of the paper so as to
facilitate peer review of the paper.
8) References should be given at the end of the paper and
should be as per the APA style.
9) All notes must be serially numbered and given at the
bottom of the page as footnotes.
10) In case of website references, the entire URL should be
provided by the authors.
11) There should be maximum two tables in the paper, if any.
12) soft copy of the research paper should be sent by email.
13) Co-paper presenters also have to register and make
necessary payments.
14) Abstract and Final paper should be mailed to
15) Selected papers will be published in the form of an edited
book with an ISBN Number.
16) Submission of the manuscript will imply that it has not
been previously published and is not under consideration for
publication elsewhere.
