Mass Intentions are needed at St. Anthony. What a wonderful way to remember a loved one. To schedule, use a Mass Intention envelope and please make $10.00 check payable to the parish, in the memo line indicate whom the Mass Intention is being offered for. Please include your name and phone number so if we need to contact you we can. Pending availability, Masses will be offered either on a weekday or a weekend celebration.

Thank you to our summer residents who have

worshipped with us at St. Joseph Church in

Rockwood over the Summer.

Our last Mass at St. Joseph for the summer was September 4th at 9am and then the church will be closed until Memorial Day Weekend 2017. Please join us for Mass in either Greenville or

1st & 3rd Mondays of each month at 1 pm in the Rectory - Holy Family Ladies Guild- At each meeting the rosary is said for the conversion of our country, for our church, and for those on our parish prayer list. Tuesdays at 1:00 PM - St. Faustina Ladies Prayer Group- meets to pray the Miraculous Medal Novena, the Liturgy of the Hours and the Rosary, Stations of the Cross or a Chaplet. We offer the prayers for family, friends or anyone who is in need of prayer. Please let us know if there is a special person that you would like us to add to our prayer basket. All ladies of the parish are welcome to join us even if you can't come every week.

Blue Mass on September 11th at 10am in Portland - Bishop Robert P. Deeley will celebrate the Blue Mass at the Ca-thedral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. The Mass an-nually recognizes the dedication and self-sacrifice of law enforce-ment officers, firefighters, and emergency personnel. For more information about this year’s Blue Mass and its history in the Dio-cese of Portland, visit www.portlanddiocese.org/BlueMass2016. Red Mass on October 7th at 11am in Portland - Bishop Robert P. Deeley will celebrate the Red Mass at the Cathe-dral of the Immaculate Conception in Portland. The bishop will ask for God’s blessing upon those who serve in the legal profes-sion and in public service and for God's guidance in the admin-istration of justice. Knights of Columbus Jackman Council 2392 Monthly meetings are held the

first Monday of the month at 6:30pm in the St Faustina Church Hall .

There will not be a Rene Morin Senior Luncheon in August. They will resume in September on the 3rd Wednesday each month at 11:30am in St Faustina Church Hall and the doors will open at 11am.

WORKS OF MERCY Weekly suggestions for the faithful to consider: September 11: Volunteer or contribute to a homeless shelter.

September 18: Visit a loved one in a nursing home or stop by

an elderly relative or neighbor’s home for a visit.

September 25: Consider becoming a homemaker or compan-

ion through Catholic Charities Maine’s Independent Support

Services or S.E.A.R.C.H. programs, which both help seniors

Registration Open

for 2016 Harvest Ball

in Portland

The 10th annual Harvest Ball will be held on Friday, October

14, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland. The ball, hosted

by Bishop Robert P. Deeley, is a fundraiser for Harvest, the

official magazine published by the Diocese of Portland. The

ball will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour and hors d'oeuvres.

Dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m., followed by dancing to the

music of The Carmine Terracciano Band. There will also be a

silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, artwork, gift bas-

kets, gift certificates, and much more. All proceeds from the

ball support Harvest and its mission of spreading the Good

News, educating Catholics about the faith, and supporting

ministries and parishes across the diocese.
