• Hello boys and girls, this is our last week together in Primary 3.
• We have loved teaching you in P3 and would have loved to have a special end of term summer trip with you all.
• As we have to do everything in the virtual world at the moment, we have chosen an amazing place to go together 'virtually' this week!

• We have set you some tasks to complete each day.
• Do what you can/would like.
• You DO NOT need to do them all.
• All activities will be based around going on a imaginary class trip to Disney World.
• All the activities are based on things we have learned together.
• Have fun, be creative and share your learning on Teams and Twitter.

Hi P3 you need to create a passport that you can use
during your trip!
A passport is like a small book. If you or someone at home has a passport have a look at the features of it for some ideas! Remember to include; - A fancy eye-catching front cover - Your name (first name & surname) - A picture of yourself - Lots of space for characters names!
**Each time you see a character this week on a page, in a
ride, on a video or song, make sure to write their name/draw a
small picture of them in your passport!
How many different characters will you meet by the end of the week?
We have arrived in Disney. We must buy our tickets to the Theme Park.
You choose which Theme Parks - Magic Kingdom - Animal Kingdom - Epcot - Hollywood Studios
- Use GOOGLE to do some research on the
Theme Parks.
- Make some notes about what you might see there and the rides.

To go on today’s the rides you must be taller than:
- 6 pieces of cutlery
- 6 of your own shoes/socks
- 4 books
- 4 soft toys
Estimate and then measure whether you are tall enough to go the rides!
Challenge: If you have a measuring tape/ruler at home, can you measure how tall you are in cm. Can you find 3 things at home that are taller than you and 3 things that are shorter than you. Measure the height of each thing.
Day 3: Wednesday 24th June Literacy/ICT Task 3: Create and design your own Monsters Inc character.
1. Watch the Monsters Inc ride clip, it is a 360 degree experience so you can drag the screen to see all around you.

2. Design your own monster – draw them.
3. Describe your monster- you can write this or record yourself on a video. Share on teams, we would love to see it.
Remember we use adjectives to describe
Are they kind, scary, fluffy, angry? Can you think of any other ways to describe them? Maybe you could use a simile!

1. Can you write a message to one of your friends on Teams? You might want to tell them a piece of news, that you miss them and what you are looking forwarding to doing when you see each other at school again.

Day 4: Thursday 25th June. Maths: Task 1: Directions & Map skills
Task: Look at the map of Disney World (on next page).
Can you use your directions knowledge to
find your way through the map?
1 Start at the Entrance and go to Donald’s house boat.
2 Start at the log flume and go to the rollercoaster.
3 Start at the pond and go to the Frozen ride.
Can you give detailed directions to someone at home on how to get from each place to the next. For example, “Turn left then go straight until you get to the pond”.
Can you give or follow directions to someone else using the map?
Day 4: Thursday 25th June HWB Task 2: Preparing a healthy snack Maths & Numeracy. Task 3: Using coins to make amounts and pay for goods.

• Mickey has asked for your help to design a new ride for Disney World! You could draw your ride, video yourself describing it, or build it out of blocks, recycling etc.
Day 4: Thursday 25th June IDL Technologies Task 4: Use different objects to design a ride.
Make a postcard to tell somebody all about your virtual trip to Disney World! You will need to draw a detailed picture on one side and write your message on the other side.
Challenge: Can you write the person’s address?
Day 5: Friday 26th June Literacy/Writing Task: Create a postcard You can use the template on the next page.
