The St. Charles Swim Team is excited that you are

joining our Team.

Welcome Returning and Future SCST Families,

Returning Swimmer Renewal for the 2017 Spring / Summer Long Course Season will begin on

March 1st for all returning swimmers who competed with SCST during the 2016-2017 Fall/

Winter Short Course Season. Returning SCST Families, in good standing with St Charles

Aquatics and the St Charles Swim Team, that renew prior to Monday, March 13th will re-

ceive a $50.00 discount per swimmer registered. Returning swimmers registering after March

13th will register during New Swimmer Registration and will be accepted as long as SCST has

room in training groups.

Any swimmers that did not compete with the St Charles Swim Team during the 2016-2017

Short Course season must attend New Swimmer Tryouts.

New Swimmer Registration for the 2017 Spring / Summer Long Course Season will begin

March 18th.

There will be two separate payments in this renewal / registration.

Step 1 - St Charles Aquatics Membership

Step 2 - SCST Session Fees, SCST Swimmer Fee and USA/ISI Registration Fee

Your swimmer (s) renewal/registration can be withheld if there are any outstanding obliga-

tions from prior seasons; outstanding meet fees or outstanding worker sessions/fines.

Renewal/Registration is a Two Step Process –

Step 1 is online Registration with St Charles Aquatics, link and instructions below.

All members of the Saint Charles Swim Team must have a Saint Charles Aquatic Member-

ship, which is the same as a Norris Membership; this gives the individual or family access to

use of the fitness center, a complimentary equipment orientation, group fitness classes, child

care services, aquatic and tennis program discounts, lap/open swim, sauna and whirl-

pool. Your Saint Charles Aquatics Membership is a yearly membership ending August 31st

and beginning September 1st. Any questions please contact the St Charles Aquatics office

Now that SCA (Saint Charles Aquatics) is its own entity these fees are used pay some of the

yearly license fees to the St. Charles Park District.

To sign up for your SCA Membership -

Go to www.stcswim.com, click on the SC Aquatics Membership tab.

Click the message “Continue or Check Status”.

It is important that you fill out ALL the information online with St Charles Aquatics Registra-

tion.

Once your registration with the St Charles Aquatics has been confirmed, your families ac-

count will be activated. Once Membership Fees are paid in full your account will be activat-

ed and you may precede to Step 2.

Returning families should register for the group they are assigned on the group placement

sheet. Returning swimmers who register prior to the group placement sheet will have their

billing/training groups adjusted accordingly. New swimmers making the St Charles Swim

Team will register for the training group which they were assigned.

The Team fees are for the Spring/Summer Long Course season (April thru July 2017). Below

are the Renewal and New Swimmer Registration Fees for each training group for the Spring/

Summer Long Course season. Families will have the choice to pay their session fees in full or

4 payments. Additional Fees include $90.00 per swimmer fee and for New Swimmers $68.00

USA/ISI Registration Fee, these fees will be billed when checking out of Renewal/

Registration.

Returning SCST Families who renew before Monday, March 13th will receive a $50.00 dis-

count per swimmer registered.

Families must have a credit card / checking account on file for these charges.

Step 2

Go to www.stcswim.com, under the St Charles Swim Team tab, click on 2017 Renewal/Registration.

Click on Register Online.

Click the message Click the message “Continue or Check Status”.

Once your family’s registration with the Saint Charles Aquatics has been confirmed, your

families account will be activated with the St Charles Swim Team.

Once this has been completed you will receive an email confirmation and your swimmer is

now ready to begin practice. Senior Teams and Non Competitive Teams will start Monday,

April 3rd. Age Group Teams (Orange, Blue 1, Blue 2, White and Age Group Performance)

start Monday, April 10th.

Please read through all the payment and policy information below.

Fees and Payment Structure

When you register your swimmer (s) you will have the choice to pay in full or 4 payments.

When you select 4 payments you will be billed the first payment. This payment will count as

your April payment.

Subsequent payments will be automatically billed on the first of the month in May, June and

July, if you select this plan.

There is a $90.00 SCST registration fee for all registered athletes each season. This fee is to

help off set coaching expense and administrative cost to process registration. This will be

billed with your first payment.

If you are transferring from another USA Swimming Club, you will need to submit an ISI Trans-

fer Form with a $10.00 transfer fee to Illinois Swimming. The ISI Transfer Form can be found

HERE.

Meet Information

SCST participates in USA Swimming Meets 1-2 times per month, below is information about

meet entries and fees.

Once a meet deadline passes, no changes to the entry can be made with out checking

with your swimmers coach. Families are responsible for any meet fees for entries, even if a

swimmer does not attend the meet. Meets will be billed after they occur. There is a $7.00

surcharge for each swimmer that attends a meet. Families must have a credit card /

checking account on file for these charges.

Practice Schedule Information

Each training group has their own practice schedule. Practices occur Monday thru Sunday.

Practices schedules are tentative due to the number of events that occur at the facilities

we rent, practices may be canceled periodically. Changes will occur and SCST Families will

be notified via our team website, www.stcswim.com (front page News/monthly calendar),

Facebook and twitter. A tentative practice schedule can be found HERE.

Equipment and Apparel

SCST equipment and apparel can be ordered at our Team dealer All American Swim.

Important apparel information -

All Swimmers must have a SCST Team Suit at Meets. A team suit is a speedo black suit.

All Swimmers will only wear a SCST Swim Cap at Meets. A team order for personalized caps

will be done at the beginning of each season. Non personalized caps can be purschased

at SCST meets or from SCST coaching staff.

All Swimmers will wear an SCST Team Shirt at Meets. SC T-Shirts can be ordered from All

American Swim.

Family Working Requirements

Family working requirements, the St Charles Swim Team is a successful because of the sup-

port of all parents supporting the Team. Each family is responsible to work a certain number

of sessions per season at our hosted events. The total number of sessions required to work

will be emailed out at the beginning of each season. Sign-up for sessions will be on a first

come, first serve basis at the beginning of each season. Any family failing to complete all of

their required session will be billed $100.00 per session missed.

Refunds

The St Charles Swim Team Refund Policy -

Refunds

For all refunds, a $25.00 processing fee will apply.

After a program/event has started, a refund may be issued for medical or other circum-

stances (job transfer, change in working hours, death in the family) as approved by the

Aquatics Director. Proof will be required in writing prior to the refund being issued. The re-

fund will be prorated for the services used.

In the event an activity is cancelled, a total refund will be made to all participants. • Re-

fund applications must be made within 10 days after the last class meeting. A cancelled

check or proof of identification may be required. Refunds will be processed in the follow-

ing manner:

If you paid by cash or check, you will receive a refund check within 15 business days af-

ter receipt of refund request.

If you paid by credit card, the refund will be credited to your card, please allow 7-10

business days.

Cancellations

If a program registration does not meet the minimum established requirement, it will be can-

celled within the week prior to the start of the activity. Staff will make every effort to contact

you. SCA reserves the right to alter or change the activity offered to serve all participant

needs in the best manner possible. SCA reserves the right to cancel classes due to insuffi-

cient registration or causes beyond its control.
