FOXWOODS All winter several of you have been asking “
When are we going to Foxwoods again?” Well, the bus co. has been contacted and the date is now confirmed for Wednesday, May 16th. We
will leave the church parking lot at 9:30 AM and return around 8-8:30PM. The cost is still $28 per person which
includes the bus fare, free buffet lunch or $10 discount at any restaurant. Start making your plans now by calling either the rectory at 781-933-4130 or Joe at 781-933-
5994. We expect to fill the bus for this long awaited trip, so reserve your place ASAP.
EASTER FLOWERS Many of our Homebound parishioners have
expressed gratitude for the CALM
volunteers who brought Easter flowers to
their homes. Thank you so much for
bringing the Light of Christ to our parishioners who are
unable to join us at Mass. This is truly a labor of love. –
Deacon Ed Giordano
St. Vincent de Paul Society of Woburn
To be the messengers of God, we must know well what it is God wants to say and do through us, as he sends us out
to bring his love to others. Over the last few months, you were the “messenger of God” in bringing hope to the poor. Your gifts enabled the Society of St. Vin-
cent de Paul to assist a homeless family with food and shelter, a mother and children find a home of their own, a family whose power was to be cut off, and a family struggling to keep from being evicted. These are just four examples of how Jesus works through
you and your donations. Never doubt how much each of you makes a difference in the lives of our clients.
Thank You!

Catholic Appeal Update We are happy to report that St. Barbara parishioners have pledged a total of $42,306 to the 2018 Catholic Appeal which is 79% of our goal of $53,260. Thank
you to all who have donated so far. We need everyone's help. If you have not pledged so far, please consider making a gift to the Catholic Ap-peal. It supports vital ministries in the archdiocese
including some that benefit our own parishioners, for example, the CCD program, Catholic schools, the
deaconate program, marriage preparation, palliative care. St. Barbara's parish will also receive
a percentage rebate for the excess amount over our assessment
of $27,534. Pledge envelopes are available at the doors or you can donate
online at www.bostoncatholicappeal.org.
