please contact Janet McCullough.

QUILTING GROUP
Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Pearson Hall
PRAYER SHAWL KNITTERS
First Thursday of each month, 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
This group of dedicated knitters has delivered more than
400 shawls to parishioners and friends. Each shawl
provides comfort after a loss or in time of illness or
recovery. Contact the parish office at (509) 747-4421 if
you know someone who may appreciate a shawl.
This multi-parish group consists of new and experienced
quilters. Over the last ten years, this group has made
hundreds of baby quilts for Catholic Charities and lap
quilts for nursing home residents. No quilting experience
is necessary as we will gladly teach you.
Both prayer groups meet immediately following the 8:00 a.m.
Mass in the St. Monica Chapel.
Please pray for our Sacramental Preparation class!
Check out the poster in the vestibule to find out who is
preparing for the sacraments this year.

FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION
Holy Day of Obligation - Saturday, December 8
Make a special effort to go to Mass this Thanksgiving!
“The Eucharist is a sacrifice of thanksgiving to the Father, a
blessing by which the Church expresses her gratitude to
God for all his benefits, for all that he has accomplished
through creation, redemption, and sanctification. Eucharist
means first of all thanksgiving.” (CCC:1360)
Friday, December 7: Vigil Mass 5:30 p.m.
Saturday, December 8: Mass 9:00 a.m.
“Take care of your body as if you were going to live forever;
and take care of your soul as if you were going to die tomorrow.”
~St. Augustine

Listen to the latest episode of Bishop and
the Vicars - our local diocesan radio show.
Bishop Daly and the vicars (Fr. Mee, Fr.
Connall and Fr. Kerst) talk about faith, life,
and challenging issues of the day - while
always keeping in mind the joy our faith
inspires. Episodes are available on podcast, podbean, our
parish website, or at dioceseofspokane.org.

SPECIAL THANK YOU
We are grateful for our many parish volunteers!
ST. ELIZABETH OF HUNGARY GUILD
Please join us for this fun parish social regardless of
which Mass you attend. All are welcome!
Mark your calendars as we kick off the Advent Season.
Cataldo School invites all parishioners to join them in
making Advent wreaths as part of our spiritual preparation
for Christmas. Please RSVP and pay for supplies by
November 26. Contact Cataldo Catholic School for more
information: (509) 624-8759.
Last weekend, the O’Rourk family (plus their friend,
Margaret) came to our aid to clean up additional debris
and trimmings from the church grounds. Many parishion-
ers came together this year to prepare our gardens for
winter. If you feel that you missed out, there will be
opportunities to assist in the spring!
We owe a special thank you to the St. Elizabeth of
Hungary guild members who assisted with two funeral
receptions this past week: Anita Kernie, Trish Corrigan,
Joanne Scarpelli, Robin and Rick Sparrow, Norma and
Mike Gavin, Myrl Longshore, Leah Brockway and Mary
Ellen Byrnes. If you are interested in helping with this
important and rewarding ministry, please contact the
parish office at (509) 747-4421.
