SAINT ANTHONY’S FEAST

Next Sunday, June 12, we as a community, celebrates our patron saint, St. Anthony of Padua. There will be a bilingual Mass at 12:00 p.m. Therefore, there will be no Mass at 10:30 a.m. It will be combined with the Brazilian one at noon. Also the bread of St. Anthony will be blessed, and people can take it home. About 1:00 p.m., a delicious lunch will be served in the parking lot, around St. Anthony’s statue as we did last year for the 100th anniversary of the parish. Also, people can pick up the parish centennial directory. Come, bring your family and join us for this special celebration.

FESTA JUNINA BRAZILIAN FESTIVAL – RAFFLE

On June 25, 2016 the Brazilian Community will hold its traditional folklore festival. It will start at 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Brazilian food will be served, music, Brazilian folklore dance, candies, and a lot fun. By the end of the party, a raffle of $10,000.00;

a TV 48’; and a tablet will be drawn. The winner won’t need to be present at the party. Ticket is $10.00 each, and they are available after every Mass on weekdays and weekend. Please, buy your ticket and good luck. You might be the winner

HOLY DAY’S MASS

Speaking with some people who come at 7:30 a.m. Mass on weekdays, we decided that on the Holidays the Mass will be canceled from now on. Usually, those Masses would be falling on Mondays, for example, July 4; Labor Day, September 5; Columbus Day, October 10. etc. If any other holiday will appear, it will be announced beforehand. Thanks.

FESTA DE SANTO ANTÔNIO

Domingo, 12 de Junho, celebraremos a festa do nosso padroeiro, St. Antônio. A Missa das 9 a.m. continuará no mesmo horário e, a das 10:30 a.m. em Inglês, e 12 p.m. em Português serão uma única e celebração, bilíngue, às 12:00 p.m. - meio dia. Em seguida haverá o almoço no parking lot, ao redor do Santo Antônio, com a benção dos pães. Desde de já convidamos a todos para participarem, anotem seu nome e quantas pessoas viram com você ou chame 6176254530. O livro do centenário da paróquia com todas as fotografias dos paroquianos estará disponível para levar. No dia 25 de junho, teremos a festa Junina. É uma festa da comunidade que quer cultivar as tradições e divulgar a cultura brasileira. Por isso é uma festa em que todos os paroquianos deviam sentir-se envolvidos. Precisamos de muita gente para trabalhar: gente para trabalhar na cozinha durante a semana, sábado durante o dia, além das equipes para armar as barracas, limpeza durante e depois da festa, gente para vender rifa, etc. A rifa este ano não será um carro, mas o valor de $10.000.00, primeiro prêmio, uma TV 48”, segundo, e o terceiro prêmio, um tablete.
