Calling all large vehicle drivers in Anchorage! Catholic Social Services is in need of your help! At CSS we are constantly helping clients move. From moving homeless individuals into their own homes, wel-coming refugees to their first home in the United States and dropping off donations to those who need them most, we are in need of volunteers to help us. If you are interested in volunteering and own a vehi-cle that is able to transport items such as couches, kitchen tables, mattresses and dressers please contact our Community Engagement Manager, Clara Williams at [email protected]. or 907-222-7335. In today’s second reading, St. Paul offers the community at Corinth a spirituality of giving. He urges them to give and helps them understand that through their generosity, they will in turn be recipients of a spiritual abundance. They will re-ceive from those who are the beneficiaries of their own giving; a reciprocal gift that amounts to an equality of giving through the generosity of Christ. A good reflection this week would be how Christian stewards enjoy spiritual abundance through Christ Jesus because of their generosity.
