Many thanks to all those who helped organize and serve at the Mardi Gras Celebration. Those who attended enjoyed a night of music, dancing, fellowship and delicious, authentic Cajun food as
we journeyed from Mardi Gras to Lent. Congratulations to Mark Healy and Mary Palladino who were crowned Mardi Gras King and Queen!
Muchas gracias a todos los que ayudaron a organizar y servir en la celebración del carnaval. Los que asistieron disfrutaron de una noche de música, baile, compañerismo y deliciosa, auténtica comida Cajun mientras viajábamos desde Mardi Gras a Cuaresma. ¡Felicitaciones a Mark Healy y Mary Palladino que fueron coronados Rey y Reina de Mardi Gras!
Un grand merci à tous ceux qui ont aidé dans l'organisation et dans le service lors de la célébration du Mardi Gras. THE FL CATHOLIC 15TH ANNUAL LONG-SLEEVE RELIEF DRIVE runs from February 26 (Ash Wednesday) through April 9 (Holy Thursday). The goal of the campaign is to provide clean long-sleeved shirts to protect farmworkers from exposure to the sun’s burning rays and pesticides they might encounter in the fields. Chemicals that saturate the shirts make them unusable after several long days of wear and tear, so having new shirts available fills a critical need. Please prayerfully consider how you can help, either by individually donating long-sleeve shirts; or by making a monetary donation. Donations can be made by check, payable to: Florida Catholic and mailed to: PO Box 4993, Orlando, FL 32802-4993. If you can donate long-sleeve shirts, please bring them to church and place them in the collection box in the narthex. Thank you!
La Decimoquinto Campaña Anual de Recolección de Camisas de Mangas Largas de la Florida Católica se
realiza desde el 26 de febrero (Miércoles de Ceniza) hasta el 9 de abril (Jueves Santo). El objetivo de la campaña es proporcionar camisas limpias de manga larga para proteger a los trabajadores agrícolas de la exposición a los rayos ardientes del sol y los pesticidas que puedan encontrar en los campos. Los productos químicos que saturan las camisas las hacen inutilizables después de varios días de desgaste, por lo que tener camisas nuevas disponibles satisface una necesidad crítica. Por favor, considere en oración cómo puede ayudar, ya sea donando individualmente camisas de manga larga; o haciendo una donación monetaria.
