Welcome and best wishes to all the friends of the department who receives this newsletter . It has been an interesting and busy semester for members of the De-partment.
It gives me great opportunity to present the second issue of “SRUJAN”. This news-letter is one of the ways in which we can disseminate information on the life of the department the current semester was full of various activities by the students and faculties in academics , co-curricular , extra-cirricular as well as research and devel-opments. As you read through the pages you will realize , that the department had a particularly successful semester.

EDC Seminar:
Entrepreneur development cell had organized an seminar on Bombay stock exchange market on September 2017. This pro-gram was organized to give knowledge about share market to students and give recent updates about the stock available in the market . This seminar was conducted by Parag Kulkarni which was very beneficial for the students..
Tree Plantation Programme:
“Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted
a tree a longtime ago” this is famous quote by Warren Buf-
fett and our MESA Team has followed the quote by Planting
Tree in Jambegaon,Pune with Prof. V. R. Deshmukh where they
had planted almost 40 tress.

MENT OF SINGLE STAGE COARSE –FINEMECHANISM FOR PRECISION
APPLICATION”
Mechanical Engineering organized Two days National level Workshop on
“Research Opportunities in Condition Monitoring and Fault Diag-
nosis of Machine Tools” held at RSCOE on 8th & 9th sept 2017. This workshop
was conducted to aware PG, UG students and Engineering teachers about Condition
Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis of Machine Tools. Speaker for this workshop were
having background of Research and Academic in area. Speakers were mostly from
Design and fracture mechanics background. Speakers for this program were Dr.
S.P. Chavan from WIT Sangali, Dr. Hemant Bari from Reliance Power, Dr. S.Y.
Bhave from DIAT Pune, Dr. Rajesh Askhedkar from Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited
and Mr. Shrikant Nimbalkar from SKF Bearing India. Complicated topic like condi-
tion Monitoring was made very easy and interesting by speakers.
