Theme: Drawing Divine Grace through SAI Activities
The 36th State Conference of Sri Sathya Sai Organisation, Odisha was held at Sai Srinivas Mandap, Bolangir (dedicated to the memory of Late Prof. I. S. Rao, former State President, Odisha) in an atmosphere of love, devotion, and discipline for three days i.e from 20th January 2012 to 22nd January 2012. A total of 1830 delegates across Odisha (1357 gents and 473 ladies) participated enthusiastically in the deliberations, unmindful of the mercury dipping below 10 degrees and expressed their views and suggestions for the all-round growth of the organisation. The programme of the State Conference was so designed as to give every delegate an opportunity to express his/her views in a free, frank and candid atmosphere. The conference was conceived, formulated and officiated by honorable State President Sj. P. Jagannath Prasad Rao whose active involvement was instrumental in making the conference a big success in terms of the brain storming group discussions and the important resolutions evolved, which have been elaborated below. Sj. Trivuban Sachdevaan alumni of Bhagavan’s institute was invited as the chief guest who illumined each heart with the message of the Lord. Revered State President in his inaugural talk appealed to all the members of the organization to expand love and brotherhood. He declared that this Sai year be celebrated as the ‘Sadvabana Varsh’ (the year of Harmony). He emphasized that to draw Divine Grace we all have to join hands together for the noble cause of serving God by serving the society, while at the same time intensifying our personal Sadhana through strict adherence to the nine point code of conduct in our lives. Most importantly we all should speak softly and lovingly and get rid of the habit of speaking ill of others. On this auspicious occasion, an exhibition named ‘Prgnya Pradarshani’ was inaugurated depicting the message of Bhagavan, the inner meaning of popular vedic chants and vedic deities, Sai parenting and also different activities undertaken by the state organization etc.. Rudrarpitham was done by the youths to radiate spiritual vibration all around. A grand rally with Bhagavan enshrined in a beautifully decorated chariot was taken through the town to the amazement of one and all. The whole town along with the Sai brothers and sisters was singing and swinging to the tune of Bhajans. As many as 12 Vedic chanters loudly chanted the vedic hymns filling the air with divine vibrations. Many new publications contributed by eminent writers were released on the occasion including ‘Sai Spandan’ our official souvenir. Six elderly local devotees of the organization were felicitated by the State President for their life time contribution to the organization. Cultural program and devotional songs were rendered by the Bal Vikas students and the Sai Symphony team of the state respectively. On 21st evening a presentation of the spiritual and service activities undertaken in different corners of the state was made by the State Digital Archive Coordinator much to the applause of all including the Chief Guest. Honorable State President conducted a meeting of all the State Coordinators, District Presidents and resource persons and appealed to

them to adequately equip themselves for successfully performing the ever growing stream of activities of the organization. The highlight of the conference was the 11 important topics chosen for discussion among several groups. Each topic was deliberated in different venues and headed by a Chairperson, a presenter with PPT, a Coordinator and one to sum up the discussions at the end. These group discussions were held simultaneously and each topic was deliberated for about 2 and half hours. These discussions were exhaustive in the sense that all the participants were free to express their views, problems, solutions and suggestions on the topic. There was also an open session on the next day to invite and consider suggestions from the open forum. The views expressed in the group discussions have been considered carefully by the organization to form part of the state conference resolutions as detailed below.
I. Rejuvenation of Spirituality – need of the time a. Sai Bhajans
1. To intensify Namasmaran Movement by arranging Bhajan training and training for playing musical instruments. For this purpose three zonal level trainers’ training program shall be held in March, April & May this year followed by district level trainings to be undertaken by the trainers. The districts covered under the zonal schedules are given in the Annexure-I.
2. Formation & recognition of Sai Symhony at district level to be made and a panel of singers to be maintained at the district and state level.
b. Expansion of Organisation 1. Displaying of hoardings, banners of Divine Message of Sai to be intensified. District
should take it as a project & give targets to their samithis. 2. Seven household bhajan & seven household Topavan Parayan to be encouraged. 3. The target to contact one lakh devotees in the Sai year 2011 could not be achieved.
It is proposed that this year, collective planned efforts should be made to achieve the target of one lakh over a period of five years. The district-wise allocation of Devotees Contact Programme (DCP) for the Sai year 2012 and the monthly reporting format are produced in Annexure-II.
4. Rallies & processions at the district & samithi level should be intensified. Like last year Mahanagar Parikrama in all districts will be simultaneously held on Avatar day (20th October 2012). The instructions in this regard can be referred from the earlier circular.
5. Circulation of Sai Literature including Sanatan Saraathi to be increased. All districts should donate the Vahinis written by Bhagawan to different school run libraries.
6. As a part of celebration of the Year of Harmony, it is decided to organise seminars & symposiums on the topic “Unity-The Panacea for all ills”. Also it is decided to have a common theme song “Hum ko man ki shakti dena” to boost our sentiment of harmony. The audio shall be circulated to all later.
c. Study Circle The topics & the modules of the study circles as followed during 2011 will continue for the Sai year 2012. However for observation of youth day a separate set of topics (Annexure-III) should be followed.
d. Cultural Programme 1. Cultural programs should be based on values rather than entertainment. Palla &
Daskathia to be encouraged by mobilizing the local talents.

2. Districts interested to present cultural programmes during the forthcoming two Parthy Yatras are to send their scripts to the State for final selection. Cultural Programme will include dance dramas of 15 to 20 minutes duration with the participation of maximum number of children from schools or Bal Vikash. These dance dramas should depict our rich cultural heritage. Youth can present short scripts of 30 minutes duration on the life and mission of Swami, activities undertaken by our state, lives of great devotees of Lord Jagannath, Real stories of transformation or any other value based subject of interest. These plays will be in Hindi or English. There will be musical programme by Sai Symphony of 20 minutes duration in each phase of Parthy Yatra. However, new talents are to be spotted and given the chance to perform during the Yatra. Any district interested to present folk dances during processions can also place their proposals to the State.
e. Propagation of Vedas 1. Zonal level cadres will be formed for training of vedic chants including Sri Rudram. 2. This year importance shall be given to the inner meaning of the chants prepared in
odia. For this purpose a panel will work to simplify & prepare the text. 3. It is proposed to conduct 1008 Rudrarpitham during the Sai year 2012. The target of
each district is given in Annexure-IV.
f. Sai Mandirs - as centers for Spiritual excellence i. It is expected that all recognized Sai temples must have the 9-point code of
conduct & 10-fold path to divinity displayed inside. ii. Display of “Thought for the day” should be done regularly.
iii. A photo gallery to be maintained displaying photos of latest activities in each samithi.
iv. There should be perfect silence in and around the Bhajan hall both before and after the Bhajan.
II Drawing Divine grace through Sai Seva
a. SSSVIP i. One Group Leader supported by a minimum of two sevadals to be appointed for
each care at samithi level. ii. Village In charge must submit the monthly progress report in the prescribed
format already circulated, so that the work will be monitored, analysed & kept for future reporting.
iii. Depending on the ability & aptitude, one sevadal must be focused for one specific Care.
iv. Continuous efforts should be made by the districts to upgrade the villages under SSSVIP to the Excellence Zone (A Category).
v. Exit plan has to be prepared for 21 excellent category villages to convert them into BM with continuation of all activities on their own.
vi. It should be made mandatory for all Samithis & BMs to include service in SSSVIP in their weekly schedule.
vii. Digital connectivity has to be provided where ever possible to the SSSVIP villages (at least six villages during the year).
b. National Narayan Seva i. A fresh census to be prepared of National Narayan Seva beneficiaries and
communicated to state. Proper care should be taken in selecting the beneficiary

and the possibility of providing alternative employment should be explored in selected cases.
ii. Amruta Kalasam supplied to the beneficiary in sustained manner throughout the year may be included in the NNS achievement.
iii. The distribution process must be done in a spiritual way. Avenues can be explored to spiritualize the distribution
iv. Besides providing food, total care of the beneficiaries should be taken up in deserving cases.
c. Innovative Projects A state level Think Tank to be constituted involving experienced persons to device and design service projects suitable to the socio-economic need of each particular region.
d. Disaster Management i. A state level task force on disaster management to be formed to impart
knowledge and skill on the subject and to do overall monitoring of the relief operations.
ii. Disaster prone districts should constitute a core team and equip it with sustained training and effective equipments so that they can immediately rush to the affected areas for extending the rescue/relief operations.
e. Prasanthi Seva i. Seva dal training & orientation program to be conducted by each district in two
phases (June & December). ii. The published Sevadal book has to be given wide circulation in all units.
iii. All workers should participate in the Sevadal exam. iv. All PS Members must attend the PS Sadhana Camp which will be held once a
year at state level. v. All PS members must attend Prasanthi Seva at least once a year.
III Shaping the future of the Organisation through Bal Vikas
i. A cadre shall be developed for the state level trainers and developing a team of master trainers through continuous workshops / trainings.
ii. Training should be made more activity oriented. Every district shall have teams of such trainers constituted preferably among youth.
iii. The data base of BV gurus shall be updated and released during August every year.
iv. Training shall be imparted on the use of Multimedia & animation for the urban BV gurus. A CD containing some animated teaching techniques may be compiled and circulated this year.
v. Each samithi should have one library on BV books. vi. A panel of writers for BV magazine to be maintained. The contents of the
magazine should include topics on BV class management, nature oriented education, small poems and aids for gurus and students. If necessary, selected articles from English, Telgu, Hindi BV may be translated.
vii. District BV advisory committees should be more effective. viii. There should be flexibility in the timing of BV classes according to convenience
of majority of students.

ix. Vedic training shall be given to the BV gurus on the topics covered in the syllabi. BV students should be preferred to chant Vedas in various functions of the organisation.
x. Each district shall maintain a list of BV alumni and will conduct a retreat by the end of 1st quarter. The objective shall be to include them in various activities of their choice in the organisation.
xi. There will be a one day workshop at the state level on parents counseling. The participants nominated for each district will constitute a district level parent counseling team under the dynamic parenting.
xii. A state level research institute shall be established to prepare the future road map of BV.
IV Technology in taking Sai Seva to villages
i. A panel of agriculture & horticulture experts to be finalized in each district at the earliest to develop awareness in the farmers specially on organic farming, vedic farming etc.
ii. Arrangements can be made for farmers to visit the Organic farms one in Nayagarh district and the other in Phulbani district.
iii. Selected SSSVIP villages should be provided with Terra filters or Purion type of filter.
iv. Awareness for use of sanitary latrines & construction of more such latrines will be stressed upon.
v. Solar lamps will be provided to students in identified villages with remote chance of electrification in recent future.
vi. Digital connectivity to be done at least in 6 SSSVIP villages in the Sai year 2012. vii. Each Samithi should have one Digital Archive member (preferably youth with IT
knowledge).
V Sai Schools – as centers of excellence i. Steps should be taken to bring excellence both in academic & human values.
ii. Guidelines of the Govt. of Odisha, Institute of Sathya Sai Education Mumbai, the CBSE & ICSE Board and Right to Education Act to be strictly followed.
iii. School fees may be increased keeping in view the minimum fees collected in other schools of the locality.
iv. Sathya Sai schools are part of Sathya Sai organisation. Therefore Sathya Sai Organisation and the management of respective schools should work hand in hand for development of the school.
v. All State level subject training programs for school teachers be conducted by the state.
vi. Same teachers should not be sent for the certificate course again and again. vii. All Sathya Sai schools teachers of the state will undergo the certificate course by
the end of 2013. viii. Reward will be given to the student with all round excellence in each school by
the state trust. ix. Common text books for English & odia medium schools will be introduced. x. Common question papers for English & odia medium schools will be introduced.
xi. School uniform as described recently should be introduced if any school has not done so.
xii. Annual inter school sports meet will be organized from 2012-2013. xiii. Similarly annual exhibition on values, maths, science, social studies, languages
will be organized commencing from 2012-2013.

xiv. Schools interested for presenting cultural programs during Parthi yatra may submit their names to the State President immediately. Such programs should involve maximum number of small children. Solo program should be avoided. The programs should be value based.
xv. Common magazine of all schools should be published on the occasion of Bhagawan’s birth day. The list of editorial board will be announced very soon. The members of the board will collect articles, photos, drawings etc. from schools for the magazine.
xvi. Value festivals will be organized every year on 15th Dec and 24th Dec. So the
principals are requested not to keep any other programs in schools during this period.
xvii. Common school calendar shall be prepared from the 2012-2013 sessions.
xviii. Following Trainings will be arranged from 2012-13.
Training for Principals & vice-principals
Training on Examination & evaluation
Training on English grammar, composition and spoken English for all teachers of English medium schools and teachers teaching English in odia medium schools.
Training on Value education
Training of Nursery teachers
Training of P.E.Ts
Training for drawing teachers
xix. Value education training for trainers will be organized on the following areas separately about two days each to prepare experts in relevant areas.
Bhajan & devotional song/silent sitting
Stotra, sloka & vedic chanting
Storytelling, group activity, parenting workshop etc.
Indian culture, educare, five values, excellence in academy, environmental and human areas.
These trainers will in turn train other teachers of the school on zonal basis.
xx. All the parents may be persuaded to subscribe for the monthly Balvikas magazine at the time of admission.
xxi. All schools are requested to submit the abstract of receipt and payment, schedules of outstanding and advances at quarterly rest to the state trust.
VI Sri Sathya Sai Organisation – The instrument for transformation
i. All the district presidents shall prepare five year action plan keeping in view the qualitative and quantitative growth of the Organisation. These action plans are to be submitted by 29th February 2012.
ii. Important activities of the Organisation at Samithi and Bhajan Mandali levels should be given publicity in the local channels and dailies.

iii. However to telecast any program in cables or to give inter views in the print/electronic media and publishing articles in news papers or magazines, prior permission of the State President shall be obtained.
iv. Live telecast of any program in TV channels to be avoided.
v. This year being the Sadvabana year, extracts from Swami’s discourses on Organisation may be read after weekly Bhajns.
vi. District Presidents should seriously think of getting substantial contribution
for Sathya Sai Trust, Odisha by motivating devotees for small contributions and contacting potential donors for large contributions. Every district should plan for a big project this year which will benefit many people and raise contributions for the purpose from willing donors. Such donations should be routed through the State Trust which will be immediately reimbursed to the concerned district. By doing this we can give the tax exemption benefit to the donor also. The State Trust will extend financial help up to a maximum of Rs.15000/- per district for any proposal of self- employment to unemployed youth.
vii. Resource persons and office bearers while speaking on different occasions should highlight the aims, objectives and activities of the Organisation.
viii. The organization has to reach to the grass root levels this year and hence
the District Presidents are to increase their contact with devotees in the Bhajan Mandalies and Bhajan Centers through frequent visits.
ix. District Presidents should see that there is fairness and transparency in all
financial transactions whether at District. Samithi or Bhajan Mandali levels.
x. Training program for Samithi & BM conveners shall be conducted to impart training on leadership, team work, inter personal relationship, conflict resolutions, time and stress management, goal setting etc. at Bhubaneswar.
xi. Minutes of the Samithi Meetings to be circulated to all the seva groups/Bhajan Mandalis within seven days of the date of meeting along with the date and agenda for the next meeting.
xii. District presidents should be in constant touch with the district administration and offer the services of Organisation to act as facilitator (without any financial involvement) in the implementation of the Govt. sponsored welfare schemes in our SSSVIP villages.
xiii. This year railway authorities will extend concession for the following festivals : February ( Maha shivarathri), April (Rama Nabami) July ( Guru Purnima), August (Onam and Janmastami) , October (Dasahara) November (Swami’s Birthday and Deepavali)
xiv. This year Parthi Yatra shall be held in two phases i.e in July and November. The dates shall be circulated later after obtaining approval from Prasanthi Nilayam
xv. April 24th shall be observed as Maha Samadhi Divas throughout the state.
Detailed guidelines in this regard will be intimated in due course.

VII Expansion of Holistic Health Care in the state – the vision beyond horizon
a. Health Camps i. Emphasis should be given on periodicity & quality of treatment (complete cure)
rather than the numbers. ii. Tie ups with doctors & hospitals in towns has to be strengthened for referral
patients. iii. Medicine banks shall be created in every district. iv. Health checkup with provisions of Health card to be introduced in all 18 Sathya Sai
schools of Odisha. v. Each district, with due permission from the hospital authority will display a Flex
inside the hospital premises highlighting the facilities available in the super specialties hospitals at Banagalore and Puttaparthy. The Flex will be provided by the state.
b. Eye Care i. Each district conducting eye camp successfully (Khurda, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar,
Bhadrak, Jajpur & Kendrapada) will help another neighbouring district to arrange eye camps.
ii. More eye hospitals will be tied up for this purpose. iii. Video/Flex will be prepared for spreading awareness regarding eye donation to
be displayed at health camps. iv. “MY LAST WISH” certificate & eye donation pledge forms will be supplied to the
districts.
c. Sharing Liquid Love i. Each district / samithi should assign a HHC worker especially for blood donation
who will be trained and having complete information regarding blood groups of devotees.
ii. There should be a state level central cell for coordination of the activity. iii. Zonal level Blood donation camps can be conducted at three medical colleges
(to which most of our patients are referred).
d. Telemedicine Center i. Back-up team should be prepared in advance for Puttaparthy connectivity
ii. Shelter to the out patients for overnight stay to be provided in case of need. iii. Possibility of conducting ECG, PT&INR, Blood tests (pre requisite for check up)
at TMC can be explored to reduce the financial burden of the patients. iv. Patient Contact programme on continuous basis and patients meet once in a
half year must be conducted in each Samithi. v. Proper information regarding days, timing, contact no. etc. of the TMC to be
displayed in samithis .
e. Skill Development of Holistic Health Care workers i. District HHC team should be reinforced (at least one doctor, two workers, one
blood donation counsellor, one youth from each SSSVIP village) ii. All training programs (First aid, Eye care, Blood donation) should be conducted
regularly at district level. iii. Emphasis will be given for attracting more doctors, preferably retired doctors by
a group of resourceful persons from organisations. iv. At least one seminar/symposium to be conducted in each of the medical
colleges in the state. v. State level doctors meet will be done annually in a more planned manner with
more number of doctors participating.

VIII SSS Vidya Vahini – The unique gift of Lord i. All the Sathya Sai School teachers along with MC members will be oriented on
SSSVV. ii. On hand experience will be provided to teachers and volunteers to develop
lesson plans in workshops. iii. Volunteers will be identified for translation team and oriented accordingly.
IX Mahila Bibhag – the loving heart to draw Divine grace
This year being the Sadbhavana Year, Love and Compassion should be the basic components of all our activities. For this, a collective approach with team spirit should be the guiding principles. This year the focus should be to strengthen Mahila Activities from the grass root level ie. Bhajanmandalies and Bhajan Centres and.
a. Spiritual Activities i. To intensify our personal sadhana and family sadhana, all members, especially
the Office-bearers are requested to daily observe 21 times Omkar followed by Suprabhatam, Japa and Dhyana at home and participate at least once a week in Nagar Samkirthan.
ii. New members should be encouraged to learn and sing Suprabhatam on Shakti Swarupini Divas and such other occasions.
iii. Seven household bhajans, in the houses of non-devotees or new devotees to be intensified.
iv. In the weekly Mahila Bhajans Ram Katha Rasa Bahini Parayan is to continue as before.
v. Seven Household ThapobanParayan, Siridi Sai Satcharitra Parayan and Sathya Sai Satcharitra Parayana involving new devotees or non-devotees should be expanded.
vi. Sri Sathya Sai Bratakalpa Puja, Bara Laxmi Puja (Once in a year), Lalitha Sahasranama, Kumkum Puja, Swami Paduka Puja and Lakhyarchana should be done on a mass scale, preferably in SSSVIP Villages.
vii. Rudarpitham by sisters are so far very encouraging and they should intensify further.
b. Shakti Swarupini Dibas i. Once in a quarter Shakti SwarupiniDibas should be observed in a SSSVIP village.
ii. Lives of the following Mahila Devotees who had close association with Bhagavan should be discussed on ShaktiSwarupinidibas (1) Iswaramba (2) Karanam subamma (3) Sakamma (4) Leelamma (5) Pedda Bottu) (6 ) Dr. Rajeswari (7) Rajmatha Of Jamnagar (8) M.S. SubbaLaxmi (9) Jayalaxmi Gopinath (10) any other local devotee.
iii. Mothers of Bal Vikash children, Lady Doctors, Teachers, Students, Professionals should be invited to the Shakti Swarupini Divas to participate in different activities like Spiritual and Awareness Talks, Study Circles, Seminars, Mahila Sadhana Sibirs and different competitions.
c. Sai Premdhara i. Each Samithy should take up at least one SSSVIP village for implementation of
Sai Premdhara Project. Each Samithy should constitute a Sai Premdhara team of 21 members comprising of 18 mahilas( Three Mahilas for each care) and three

gents involving the Samithy Convener, Samithy Gents Seva Dal Coordinator and Samithy Youth (Gents) coordinator.
ii. The District President should submit a quarterly report on the implementation of Sai Premdhara in his District.
iii. District level workshop on Sai Premdhara should be conducted in each district before April 2012 involving the Sai Premdhara teams of each samithi.
d. Prasanthi Seva i. Prashanti Seva Training for Mahilas at the district level should be conducted
twice a year in the months of June and December. ii. More and more mahilas from SSSVIP villages should be motivated to participate
in Prashanti Seva.
e. Mahila Convention Each District should organize a Mahila Convention during the year in which large number of Mahilas should participate. A theme song for Mahila Convention should be composed at the State Level. A uniform programme for mahila Convention should be designed and followed by all districts. As far as possible, services of the local Resource Persons should be utilized for holding district level mahila conventions.
f. Mahila Magazine “ Sanathani” i. This will be a State Level Magazine to be released on 19th Nov’2012. An
Editorial Board with representation from coastal, southern and western Odisha is to be constituted for the purpose. Articles, poems and photographs to be collected by the District Spiritual Coordinator of each district and sent to the State Spiritual Coordinator at least two months before publication. After proper scrutiny, only selected items will find place in the magazine.
ii. This year being the Sadbhavana Year every mahila devotee should strictly follow the nine point code of conduct and maintain spiritual diary for the purpose of self-audit.
X Holistic Animal Care – Challenges & Opportunities a. Self Employment Programme
More emphasis will be given for self employment of educated unemployed youth through dairy entrepreneurship in SSSVIP villages. The farmers having dairy units will be provided with technical support for their sustenance. The youths interested for dairy farming will be imparted training on Dairy Development at Goshala, Cuttack. The interested persons may contact Dr. L.D.Mohanty, contact No.8763534887. It was also resolved that, a 2 days training programme on Dairy entrepreneurship will be organized centrally at Bhuabaneswar to accommodate and facilitate the training of unemployed youths.
b. Small Ruminants Development Programme After fresh survey of land less labourers, Small marginal farmers, below poverty line persons either having sheep or goat or interested for their farming will be given technical support to rejuvenate their farms for better income. The farmers having small animals will be trained at Joda under Keonjhar district and at Rayagada in southern Odisha to reorient them regarding scientific know how, care and management of animals. In addition, the labourers/ farmers showing much interest in small animal farming will be supported in all respects for their firm establishment.

c. Organisation of Health Camps
Need based camps will be organized as usual in SSSVIP villages. As such, 2-3 camps comprising deworming of animals, correction of infertility in animals and general health camps will be organized in a village as per the requirement of the SSSVIP village farmers.
d. Preventive Vaccination It was finalized that, our organization will ensure preventive vaccination of large and small animals as Govt. is providing all necessary Biologicals along with personnel for vaccination of animals. In case of large animals the vaccine like HSV, BQV, FMDV, Theileriosis & ASV will be covered as per the prevalence of the disease. For small animals the vaccines like ENTV, PPRV & GPV will be covered as per the need of the area concerned. In face of any outbreak of disease in animals, the organization will come forward for vaccinating the susceptible animals and subsequent control of the disease. e. Farmers Orientation Programme It was decided that, farmers orientation training programme will be conducted in SSSVIP villages to impart necessary awareness and training regarding calf/ dairy management, infertility, mastitis, clean milk production, Bio-gas production, vermiculture, organic farming, fodder cultivation etc. to the interested farmers.
f. Skill Development of Sai Youth on Animal Care It was felt essential to train a very good number of Sai Youth on Animal Care in order to assist the veterinarians during organization of health camps, farmers awareness camp etc. in SSSVIP villages. Such training programme will be organized in individual district or clubbing 3-4 districts at a time as per the requirement.
g. Organisation of Gosambardhana Utsav (Festival) It was decided to organize Gosambardhana Utsav in various districts with venue as per their suitability in addition to the Utsavs being organized at present in SSSVIP villages. The details of modalities of holding such Utsav at district level will be communicated later.
h. Survey of Animals It was finalized to conduct survey of animals in various SSSVIP villages as usual for the year 2012 as per the prescribed proforma placed below as Annexure-V. The District President should submit a report on animal surveyed, which should reach at State Office on or before 7th February 2012 positively.
i. Co-ordination with the Govt. To benefit unemployed youth through farming of animals under various Govt. schemes, it was decided to designate a contact person Dr. Hadibandhu Ranasingh, contact no. 9937571030. Interested youth desirous of availing such opportunity may contact him over telephone or in person.
j. Organization of Workshop on Value addition of Dairy Products It was found essential to organize workshop on marketing of milk and value addition of dairy product in selected district as per the requirement and availability of large quantities of milk , which is a perishable item. This will reduce the distress sale of milk creating employment opportunity to the un employed youth simultaneously benefiting the farmers

in general and the individual sales man (unemployed youth) in particular. It has been decided to start the programme on pilot basis at Bhubaneswar.
k. Submission of Report Returns In the previous year, the report on animal health care received from various quarters in half hazard manner, which could not be complied in a systematic way. In order to streamline the same, all concerned are requested to submit their report to Dr. Purna

l. Zone wise distribution of the state for animal farming It is found that the agro climatic conditions of various districts vary to a considerable extent not allowing farming of different species of animals in a particular district. In the back drop of this fact, it was finalized that all the districts in Odisha will be categories in to Group- A, B & C. The group-A districts such as Cuttack, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Khordha, Balasore, Bhadrak, Dhenkanal & Baragarh found suitable for dairy farming, where dairy activities will be given more thrust. Similarly, the Group-B districts like Koraput, Malkanagiri, Rayagada, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Keonjhar, Deogarh, Gajapati & Nayagarh, where small ruminants farming will be given more emphasis. Like wise, the Group-C districts such as Gnajam, Anugul, Bolangir, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Sonpur, Boudh & Mayurbhanj are found suitable for both dairy and small animal farming, where both will be given equal emphasis as per the specific need of the area.
XI Youth – The Harbingers of Golden Age
i. For the Sai Year 2012 each district should take up only one district, need based, cost effective project.
ii. The existing incomplete projects must be given priority for completion within a given time frame.
iii. The ideal common project for the year shall be to attract new youths to the organisation fold and to retain the existing youths.
iv. The youths of two or three neighbouring districts should join together to take up a pilot project. The sanitation project taken by Puri, Nayagarh, Khorda is worth emulating in this regard.
v. Zonal communication coordinators should be appointed for each zone and his duties, scopes will be to impart motivation to the youths and facilitate upward and downward communication (please refer Annexure-VI for the list of ZCC).
vi. Retaining the pass out BV students and mentoring them vii. As a part of our celebration of the year of harmony, the DYCs should use their e-
mail ids to exchange noble thoughts and ideas among them. Any good activity or inspiring article from authentic sources can be shared among all DYCs in [email protected].
viii. Students from academic institutions should be increasingly invited to the summer course. Any student/s of such institution who show their interest to visit Prashanti Nilayam may be sponsored by the district for such visit.
ix. Observation of youth day and quarterly meet should be held as a part of our Sadhana.
x. Every youth should select from the list of activities under different wings of the organisation (As given in Annexure VII) and try to devote at least three hours in a week for the Organisation activities. The list is only illustrative and not exhaustive.

xi. The district level career guidance program for district workers shall be done in the 10 identified districts. They are Bolangir, Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Mayurbhanj, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Sundergarh, kandhamal and Baudh.
xii. Persons benefited through our career guidance programme shall be included during the November Parthi yatra 2012.
xiii. At least one SHG in the 10 designated districts mentioned above (total 10 SHG) should come up during this year.
xiv. Trolley Rickshaw shall be given to the remaining districts. xv. Three unemployed youths as identified in each district shall be given assistance
in the form of tool equipments etc. costing between Rs.10,000/- to Rs. 15,000/- xvi. Driving training shall be imparted free of cost to three unemployed youths from
SSSVIP of each district at Bhubaneswar. xvii. Success stories of seva projects, youth projects, may be recorded in the Digital
Radio Sai Studio for benefit of all during Parthi Yatra. Prayer

Note:
1. For the purpose of trainers’ training each district to depute 5 persons (preferably youths)
consisting of 3 lead singers and 2 instrumentalists. They will act as trainers for their
respective districts.
2. For subsequent trainings at district level the help of core team of Sai symphony in the state
may be sought for.
3. A CD compiling more than 60 training modules of Prasanthi Bhajans shall be distributed by
the state symphony to each district.
4. The formation of district level Sai symphony shall be made forthwith and the list shall be
forwarded by the district to the state within 1 month of the completion of trainers training.
