NO DATE EVENT FEEDBACK PICTURE 1 05/05/1 9 Workshop by Chinmay Mission A workshop on ‘Empowering the Intellect’ for teachers and admin staff was conducted at Kothari International School on Saturday 04May 2019. This workshop saw no less than 200 educators in attendance. The workshop organized by Chinmaya Mission, Noida, comprised twelve stages of intellectual growth culminating in a question- answer round at the school auditorium. Swamiji notably pointed out the difference between the ‘intellect’ and ‘intelligence’, intellect being the key instrument of a human being and how as educators we can help children cope up with all changes intelligently. The workshop was informative and well conducted overall. 2 09/05/1 9 Assembly on SDG 1 – ‘No Poverty’ by Grade 7D The assembly started with a prayer. After which the anchors introduced sustainable development goals with a video and slides. After disclosing the topic, meaning of poverty, the thought of the day was shared by the students. A workshop on ‘Empowering

presented by the students.

The solutions culminated with

a wonderful Video on

togetherness. Assembly

moved ahead with Campus

news, book review on ‘The

Book Thief’and Zumba fun.

Assembly on SDG – ‘Life on Land’ by Grade 7C

As KIS is in communion with

the United Nations

Sustainable Development

Goals, the topic of grade 7- C

assembly was goal 15- LIFE

ON LAND . Firstly, the

sustainable development goals

given by UN were briefed

understood. After that the

‘Thought of the day’ was

followed by the ‘Campus

News ,’ Then, the much

awaited Nukkad Natak was

performed by the students on

the theme ‘’PROTECTING

THE ENVIRONMENT’ The

students tried to convey

environmental issues like

deforestation, pollution,

urbanization and over

population. The loud

applause showed that the

audience thoroughly enjoyed

the street play. Later on, Yoga

was practised by everyone .

played proud host to the annual MUN,

Model United Nations assembly

(Diplomathon) on 18th and 19th May,

2019. After several years of active and

successful participation in

Diplomathon/MUN events, it was

indeed a gratifying honour to

participate as host school partner to 600

delegates from across 21 schools in the

NCR region.

Summer

Camp

Kothari International School, Noida

hosted a Summer Camp for its students

as well as from other schools. Summer

Camp at KIS is always looked forward

to because it provides varied

opportunities to hone the skills of

young learners. The learning

environment is healthy, friendly and

enjoyable. The workshops are carried

out by the best, and supervised by its

staff members. The children had

enrolled in various activities like-

Contemporary Western Dance, they

enjoyed and learnt latest western dance

songs, Acting and theater Skills,

Culinary Skills wherein they learnt

various techniques of using knife

effectively and keeping things neat and

clean.Baking was another interesting

activity the students tried their hands

on.
