In the course of her presentation on good
governance, Mrs. Lewis made a pitch for Roxas-Robredo.
The organizers of the forum clarified that the university is
non-partisan and that the event was not meant to
influence the participants but just to help them in making
choices for the 2016 elections.

The forum opened with a prayer led by Ms. Alexa
Nunez, followed by Welcome Remarks from Dr. Rhoda Reyes, Vice President for Academic
Services. Mrs. Lalaine Vitug-Mallari introduced the guest speaker. After the talk of Mrs. Lewis,
it was announced that the Open Forum (which should have been moderated by Dr. Brian
Bantugan) and the Closing Prayer (led by Nancy Aguila) had to be dispensed with due to time
constraints.
Dr. Reyes and Mrs. Sherry Alingod presented
the speaker with a certificate and a copy of the SPU
Manila centennial coffee table book as a token from the
school, and flowers from the SPMAFI.
Guests were given photo ops with Mrs. Lewis
and invited to partake of the merienda.
