Operation Clean Sweep!The)Oyster)Bay)Main)Street)Associa&on)is)pleasedto)introduce)our)newest)partV&me)employee,Michael!)Michael)will)be)working)with)us)duringthe)summer)through)our)Clean)Sweep)Ini&a&ve.

Opera&on)Clean)Sweep)was)started)by)the)MainStreet)Associa&on)in)response)to)the)concernsraised)by)our)membership)regarding)the)state)ofthe)downtown)V)specifically)the)prolific)amount)ofgarbage)and)loose)debris)that)lined)our)streets)andsidewalks)detrac&ng)from)the)character)of)ourhamlet.

As)the)summer)season)approached,)OBMSA)raisedthe)funds)necessary)to)hire)a)part)&me)employeeto)walk)the)downtown)twice)a)week,)or)as)needed,to)sweep)up)our)sidewalks,)streets)and)parking

OBMSA's Facade and Sign GrantOBMSA)began)this)small,)privatelyVfundedgrant)as)a)means)to)help)business)andbuilding)owners)in)the)downtown)with)smallimprovements,)while)keeping)true)to)ourdesign)guidelines.))Since)2013,)we)haveinvested)over)$20,000)into)the)downtown,assis&ng)13)new)and)exis&ng)businesses.

We)are)s&ll)accep&ng)applica&ons)for)our2015)grant.)The)Main)Street)Associa&on)willwork)closely)with)interested)business)ownersto)design)appropriate)signage)and)willreimburse)owners)75%)of)their)preVapprovedsign)up)to)$2,000.)

Energy Efficiency Information SessionOn)June)18th,)OBMSA)hosted)aninforma&on)session)for)interestedhomeowners,)business)and)buildingowners)regarding)Energy)Efficiencyprograms)available)in)the)area.

Representa&ves)from)the)New)YorkState)Energy)Research)andDevelopment)Authority)(NYSERDA)and)PSEGVLI)lead)presenta&onsregarding)free)audits,)the)availabilityof)low)cost)financing)and)rebates,which)make)energy)efficiency)not)onlyajainable)and)affordable,)but)a)smart)monetary)decision)down)the)line.))Just)this)year,)theseprograms)have)saved)thousands)of)customers)tens)of)millions)of)dollars.

Re-opening of Sagamore Hill NHS!On)July)12,)2015)Sagamore)Hill)openedits)doors)again.))A]er)four)years)and)a$10)million)renova&on,)tourists)onceagain)flocked)to)the)former)home)of)our26th)President,)Theodore)Roosevelt.

A)full)day)was)planned)by)park)staffincluding)tours)of)the)home,)RoughRider)Cavalry)demonstra&ons,))andperformances)by)the)Sagamore)HillBand.
