My Beloved Springfield Women’s Leadership Panel Explore local leadership development opportunities for women at our information fair from 5:30-6 PM, then join us to be inspired by a panel of prominent local women as they tell us about their different paths to leadership. Celtic Celebration Enjoy an evening of Celtic music and storytelling featuring the Valley’s very own Jeff Snow. Jeff will perform from 6-7 PM and entertain with Celtic stories and music on the autoharp, bouzouki, and bodhran. There’ll be Celtic decorations and refreshments to enjoy compliments of the Friends of the Library too. Rotunda Rhythms: Songs from the Heart You’re in for a treat with the exciting music of Kat, Merrill, and Faith. Three rising talents from the greater Springfield area, these women play covers and originals on guitar and keyboard, offering a soulful mix of pop-rock songs. All in attendance can enter the free raffle. Adventures in Art Do you want to be a creator? A maker? An artist? During this six-week art program, artist and educator Ryan Jobb will teach kids to create artworks using a variety of mediums. Projects, such as drawing from sound, drawing with rubbings, creating an alternate artist identity, and more, will emphasize the importance of creation, imagination, and creativity over the need to create a finished product.
