Spring 2016

Ministry/church update We are excited as a church to have started a series on prayer, we are looking forward to growing as a body in our friendships with Jesus. We are having a potluck this Sunday and are looking forward to fellowship time. While we are in the States for a wedding, several of the young men who serve in the church will be teaching. Balazs is meeting with them as they prepare and we are very excited for this opportunity for them (and sad we will miss it:).

We are now going out to the village every 3 weeks and Balazs is teaching through John. Now, people that have come to know Jesus are bringing new people with them. We, and all who come to the bible study are getting a lot of opposition from the catholic priest in a nearby village. Please pray for protection and no fear for these people coming.

Please pray for the church to grow in their friendships with Jesus through prayer, for the men teaching while we are away, for the new believers to be protected, that the seeds would not be snatched away. And for protection for Norbi, the man whose home we meet at.

We have a team coming from the bible college this weekend, and in addition to the potluck Sunday, we will have a bonfire outreach Friday night for college age people. Please pray for many to come and to respond to the gospel.

Spring 2016

Family For those of you without facebook, we had our baby girl on March 12th. Grace Stanzel made a very dramatic entrance to the world being born unplanned at home. After a blood test at the hospital, she was rushed to the NICU with extremely high hematocrit levels. It was a very scary week for us, ultimately she had a partial blood transfusion and from there turned the corner to recovery. She was released at one week old and is doing amazingly well. We thank all of you who prayed for her and us during that time.

As you read we will be making a quick trip to the central coast of California for Leah's sister's wedding in June. We are very much looking forward to being together with all of her family at once place! Unfortunately, that is the only place we will be during this trip. Aside from the wedding, we have not made any plans for our time there yet. Please pray for our travels with 6 kids, and for all of the details to work out for our time there.

We have not made any progress in finding a new place to live yet as the rental prices have tripled. We are looking at all of our options at this point. Please pray we would find something before our current rental is sold that is large enough, in a good location, for the price we can afford, that will accept our need for our permanent addresses.

Ellie did amazing in her violin concert placing gold in her age group! She has another concert, this one regional on the 12th of May. We are excited to finish up this homeschool year in just over a month and take a bit of a break before starting up again after our return.

Summer Summer is one of our favorite times as it is out biggest outreach season. Please pray as we begin planning for concerts, festivals, and other outreaches.
