TICKETS: Advanced ticket sales will be done completely online. Ticket sales are open NOW and will close on Monday, May 6th at 11:59pm. Tickets will be available to pick up at the studio desk the week of May 13th.

In an effort to make show day smoother and more enjoyable for all, we are offering PREMIUM TICKETS. These ticket holders will have reserved premium seating at the show and will not need to wait in line prior to the start of the show. We will only be selling 200 tickets per show available PRESALE only. First come, first serve. This is something new we are trying to help avoid overcrowding in between shows and make it a hassle-free event. All K-12th grade dancers should attend the finale practice for the show that their kick class is in. Dancers not in a kick class should

attend the finale practice for the show that their dance is in. Dancers in multiple shows are welcome to be in the finale for each show but they must attend rehearsal for each show they

plan to be in.

Show Hair & Makeup Information Preschool Dancers: Half ponytail with curls – hairpiece worn on the right side of half ponytail K-5th grade Dancers: Low bun with bun form. Part hair on left side and slicked back. No bangs in face. Curly hair piece to be worn around the bun (purchase in studio store). All hair accessories and barrettes to be worn on the right side of the bun. *Pleasantview & Mississippi Heights dancers do not need the curly hair piece. 6th-12th grade Dancers: Low bun without bun form. Part hair on left side and slicked back. No bangs in face. All hair accessories and barrettes to be worn on the right side of the bun. Makeup: We recommend that all dancers wear stage makeup so that the lights at the show do not wash out their faces and their facial expressions can really SHINE! MEETING LOCATIONS: ON SHOW DAY • Preschool (Tiny, Pre Petites, & Teeny’s): Meet in front of sound table

10 minutes before show time OR at intermission depending on if they dance right away or after intermission. One parent will stay on floor with dancer and take dancer back to sit with them when finished performing. Thurs Tiny Tap/Ballet: Please meet in Auxiliary Gym at 9:30am. Thurs. Pre Petite – Please meet in Auxiliary Gym at intermission of first show.

Important Reminders: • Boys are not allowed in the meeting locations during the show due to dancers having to change. Male dancers will wait for their class in the back hallway near the dancer’s entrance. There will be a changing tent in this area available for male dancers. Male dancers will be able to be in the AUX gym 1 hour prior to the start of the show to rehearse with classes. We ask that boyfriends, brothers, dads or other male spectators enter the Aux gym only to drop off or pick up dancers but do not use this space as a hangout area.

• Come with makeup and hair done. • Be sure to label EVERTYTHING! All costume pieces and clothing items dancers wear to the show should be labeled with their name and what class they are in

• We ask that dancers do not bring snacks with peanut butter/peanuts due to dancers with severe nut allergies! THANK YOU!

QUICK CHANGES

• Be organized - Using a clear tub/bin allows you to find items easier. • Label everything including shoes and hair accessories. • Have all needed supplies: Gel, bobby pins, safety pins, hair binders, hair net, bun form, make up, hair spray, extra tights, jewelry/hair pieces • Have a plan for how child will change without help. Practice it at home. Dancers 3rd grade and younger who are in multiple dances should have a large Ziploc bag, labeled with their child’s name, that has the contents of their 2nd costume. This will help staff/volunteers help them quickly if need be. • Have an order of performance, with your dances highlighted, hung in your space of the meeting area or on the inside cover of your dance bin. • There will be a curtain changing area in the back gym for dancers with quick changes (1-2 songs between dances). Have a friend ready to help you as you run off the floor.

Speed is important, dancers should not hold up the show!

PARKING

With a large number of families arriving at the same time, parking can get crazy. Plan ahead. All dancers and spectators will enter through Door 6 on the west side of the high school.

ADMISSION

Remember to have your pre-sale tickets available to give to the door monitors. Pre-Sale ticket holders, DO NOT wait in the

admission lines, go directly to the doors. Premium ticket holders will be able to sit in our reserved section. You will not need to wait in line at the door to save seats. Tickets are $12.00 for adults and $9.00 for students on the day of the

show. Reminder that all spectators will need a separate ticket for each show they plan to watch.

SEATING

We anticipate a full crowd at each show but we plan for there to be enough seats for everyone. Our routines are choreographed to be viewed from above, so every seat in the

gym is a good one. We ask that the floor seats are reserved for parents of our preschool dancers (2-5yr olds) and families that have a member unable to climb in the bleachers.

DURING THE SHOW Once the show has begun, please refrain from moving while a team is performing. If you must leave your seat, please do so in-between numbers.

Applause is welcome. When you see something you like while the team is performing, let them know. A dance performance is an interactive experience.

AFTER THE SHOW

Our last number will be the finale’ which encompasses all dancers K-12th. Our staff will lead K-3rd graders back to the Auxiliary gym to be picked up. Dancers 4th grade and up may remain in the gym to be greeted by their family.

BETWEEN SHOWS

We will be clearing the gym after each show. If you are attending multiple shows, please make sure to exit the gym and re-enter with the next shows ticket. Seats will not be allowed to be saved with blankets or jackets. Thank you for

your cooperation.

End of the Year Wrap Up BRING A FRIEND WEEK All Preschool-5th grade dancers are encouraged to bring a friend to dance class the week of May 6-9th! Friends will enjoy warming up/stretching, doing across the floor activities and being a great audience while watching our spring show dances in preparation for our upcoming show! Friends should bring back their completed INVITATION. Dancers who have a friend register for dance class will be entered into a drawing for 1 free class for 1 month ($42 value) for the 2019-20 season!

REGISTRATION OPENS MONDAY, MAY 6TH It’s that time of year again! Classes for the 2019-2020 dance season will be available to register for starting on May 6th! With that, we are holding a REGISTRATION CONTEST! Dancers will be entered into a drawing for each class they register for between May 6th-May 14th. This includes summer and/or fall registrations. Prizes include: •Free Spring Show t-shirt (or reimbursed for previously purchased shirt) •2 Free PREMIUM Spring Show tickets •One free month of class ($42 value) Winners will be announced via our Facebook & Instagram page on Wednesday, May 15th!

LAST WEEK OF DANCE CLASS The week of May 20th will be the last week of dance class for the 2018-2019 dance season. We hope that all dancers attend as we celebrate their dedication, growth and achievements throughout the dance season!
