The Boys & Girls Club of Boone County offers quality programs

throughout the year in education, the arts, health, sports, computer

technology, and leadership. We have a total of 3 clubs located in

Zionsville, Whitestown, and Lebanon. Our three clubs are open after

school daily until 6:00 pm. Morning schedules vary between

locations. Weekend activities are centered around sport leagues.

Our mission is to enable all area youth, especially those that need us

most, to develop the skills, fitness, and character they need to reach

their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

FINE ART Can’t get enough art classes? We’ll explore

several art mediums daily: drawing, sculpting, painting,

collage, printmaking, mixed media, and group projects.

DRAMA CLUB Do you like to perform? This class

introduces improvisation and ensemble acting skills

through participatory activities and individual character

development. Students will gain confidence, speaking

skills and self-esteem by performing in front of a live

audience.

K-1 ARTS ALIVE Welcome beginner artists! We’ll explore

fine arts and crafts with step-by-step projects that promote

creativity and individuality.

ADVANCED ART If you are ready for some more difficult

projects, we’ll work to inspire you and challenge your fine

art skills.

TRIPLE PLAY HEALTHY HABITS Let’s talk nutrition in a

fun and engaging way. We’ll introduce the kids to healthy

food options, and play games that reinforce our healthy

lifestyle.

COOKING CLUB Learn some new recipes and join us for a

meal. We’ll cook together as a group and try out our tasty

concoctions.

SMART GIRLS This is a health, fitness, and self-esteem

enhancement program for girls. The popular program is

designed to encourage healthy attitudes and lifestyles

that will enable early adolescent girls to develop to their

fullest potential.

PASSPORT TO MANHOOD Passport to Manhood

promotes and teaches responsibility while reinforcing

positive behavior in male Club members.

DATE SMART This program discusses healthy

relationships and how to navigate adolescence in a safe

group environment.

GARDENING CLUB The Garden Club gives members

the opportunity to grow their foundation of gardening

knowledge. We will be cultivating plants and learning

the gardening cycle as well as sharing the harvest

with the members.

TORCH CLUB This small-group leadership

development program targets building future leaders.

Members elect officers and plan and implement their

own activities and community service projects.

JUNIOR STAFF Members have an opportunity to gain

valuable work experience and demonstrate a sense of

responsibility as a Junior Staff member. In our Clubs,

Junior Staff serve as role models to younger members

as they assist professional staff in a variety of

program areas and at the snack shack.

TRIPLE PLAY LEADERSHIP CLUB Learn what it

takes to be a true team captain. We’ll teach

leadership skills in a sports environment and train the

kids to be team players.

POWER HOUR A comprehensive homework help and

tutoring program, designed to raise the academic

proficiency of Club members. Power Hour is offered

Monday through Friday at all Clubs.

INDIANA KIDS In an effort to improve grades, we’ll work

with this small group to get homework done, review

assignments, explore different careers and what it takes

to accomplish our goals. And, encourage them to

complete volunteer projects. Kids are rewarded for their

efforts with free snacks.

STEM CLUB We love getting messy putting together

science experiments and engineering projects. Put those

brains to work inventing and getting hands-on with my

math and technology.

MY.FUTURE This National Boys & Girls Club program

teaches kids how to use digital arts and office programs to

explore the world of technology. Participants earn badges

for their accomplishments.

NET SMARTZ Kids will have the opportunity to explore

some Club approved game sites and learn how to safely

navigate the Internet while learning about the dangers of

being online.

NET GAMES Fridays are for fun. We’ll supervise the kids

on our computers as they play their favorite Club approved

web games.

READING CLUB We are looking for kids who love to read.

We’ll challenge you to read new books, do peer reading,

and do group reading.

TRIPLE PLAY DAILY CHALLENGE Come to the gym

for a fun fitness challenge. Our fitness challenges are

fun and non-competitive. We’re striving for personal

growth and an improved healthy lifestyle.

TRIPLE PLAY SPORT LEAGUE Triple Play is a dynamic

wellness program that demonstrates how keeping fit

and forming positive relationship through sports leads

to a healthy lifestyle. We’ll learn how to play

different sports each week and build sportsmanship

through team play.

INSTRUCTIONAL GAMES There are so many different

ways to play games. In this program, we’ll teach you

new games and variations on old games that you’ll

love.

CARDIO BLAST Let’s get fit together! We’ll challenge

the kids to get their heart rates up doing fun games.

YOUTH CHOICE We’ll let the kids decide. Youth

Choice is broken into Boys Only, Girls Only, ages 5-8

Only, and ages 9+ Only. When it’s your turn to play,

we’ll give you options and let you vote on the game to

play.

TOURNAMENT TIME We put on game tournaments

everyday! We’ll teach you how to play and let you

compete where everyone gets a turn.

CIRCLE GAMES Looking to make friends? Join a

circle game, learn how to play, and make some new

friends.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT We want to learn how to play

and how to get better at our favorite games room

games. Join us for skill development, and we’ll show

you the way.

MINUTE TO WIN IT Try a fun game challenge and join

the contest! We’ll get silly and have fun doing these

quick challenges.
