We have what you need to improve your health and fitness lifestyle.
FACILITY RESERVATIONSActivity and meeting spaces within the Sport Club are available for reservation. Information about reserving and/or renting space can be obtained by calling or visiting the Sport Club, or by visiting www.sjsu.edu/spartanrec/facilities.
Please complete a Reservation Request Form, available at the Sport Club entry desk. Once submitted, the Sport Club Scheduling & Event Management Team will review the facility request and determine available space. Facility availability and a preliminary estimate will be sent within 5 days of submitting the request. Please note that completing and submitting this request does not guarantee a reservation. All events must be contracted through Student Union, Inc. at San José State University at least 2 weeks prior to the requested event date(s). Only upon final approval will a confirmation be issued to hold the event. Please note that cancellations and/or changes to reservation times must be communicated to the appropriate facility scheduler. Upon submission, depending on the user group's needs and requests, additional fees and insurance may be required.

Les Mills CXWORX®: Strengthen your overall core with this 30-minute workout. We’ll focus on everything from your shoulders to your hips, training in a functional way, to maximize results.
Les Mills BODYCOMBAT®: A high-energy martial arts-inspired workout that is totally non-contact. Punch and kick your way to fitness—no experience needed. Learn moves from Karate, Taekwondo, Boxing, Muay Thai, Capoeira, and Kung Fu.

Fitness Classes are available year-round for students, faculty, staff, and community members. Our Fall/Spring semesters provide over 40 hours of classes per week (Monday–Sunday). All Fitness classes are offered as non-academic/non-credit classes.

NO TEAM? NO PROBLEM!Don’t have a team? You can sign up as a free agent! Just go to the IMLeagues page as if you were registering a team, and then sign up as a free agent for the sport you want to play. If there are enough people, we will try to make a free agent team, but there is no guarantee of this, or of you getting picked up by another team.
OPEN RECREATIONOpen Recreation is offered throughout the school year and will vary based on facility availability. This is the best place to drop in and find badminton, volleyball, basketball, and more in a less-competitive setting. All fee-paying students are eligible to participate for free in open recreation by showing their Tower Card ID. To find the schedule, go to www.IMLeagues.com/sjsu and click on “Open Recreation Schedule,” or visit the Spartan Recreation website at www.sjsu.edu/spartanrec.
