• look for the commencement committee in red jackets
• Dial 303-556-5000 to directly access the Auraria Campus Police
• Paramedics will be located on site at the First Aid tent

Assembly Area Procedures
• Each name card will have a scan code.• The scan code will be scanned as students’
walk across the stage.• It will show the students’ name and major
on the screen as they receive their diploma.• Ask candidates to print non-MSU Denver
email address on back of name card for photos.
Assembly Area Procedures
• Name Card and Assembly Marshals will not have blank cards to give out to students who do not have a name card pre-made.
• Those students should be instructed to check-in at the student information table.
• They can have a card made for them with a scan code.
• This service will end at 8:15 a.m. The generic scan will show “Congratulations Graduate!”
Name Card Marshals
• Greet and congratulate candidates• Hand out candidates’ name cards• Inform candidates where to line up• Answer candidate questions
Assembly Marshals
• Line students up within their departments
• Keep order
• Answer student questions
• IMPORTANT: Give first candidate in each department the Chair name card 10 minutes before the procession begins.

• Aid candidate who has asked for assistance throughout the ceremony.
