Agency Reviews Application

• The hiring agency will start reviewing applications after the job announcement closes.

• Minimally Qualified vs. Highest Qualified.• Application status will be Referred or Not Referred.

Interview

• Hiring official will review the “highest qualified” applications and select applicants to interview.

• Hiring agency will contact applications directly for interview.• Types of Interviews: Panel, in-person, video and phone.• Multiple rounds of interviews may be scheduled.

Agency Selects Candidate

• After interviews have been completed, a candidate will be selected.• The hiring agency will contact the applicant and begin the job offer process.• For those not selected, the application status will adjust to Not Selected.

Job Offer

• The job offer is final when the agency successfully completes the background investigation and any additional security checks.
