Responsibilities Of A Coach

Offense • This play has three options on who can

carry the ball before the ball is snapped.

• The ball carrier is determined by the reaction of the defenders numbered 1 and 2 in the figure. These defenders are left unblocked.

Offense• Play action pass is important to any offense at

any level. In high school this is especially important due to the many run-first offenses. This pass below is designed to take advantage of over aggressive defenses trying to stop inside veer (seen in previous slide)

Defense

• The 3–4 defense is so named because it involves 3 down linemen and 4 linebackers. There are usually 4 defensive backs. The main thing in defense is to put people in the right spots to make tackles.

People who inspired

• Chad Leary- He taught me a lot on and off the football field. He is always talking about how family and the importance of family support.

Coach Twyne- I have been close to coach Twyne since the fifth grade, and he has been a mentor to me since that time.
