My definition of Sportsmanship

Sportsmanship is all about being able to get into the game 100% going hard against your competitors but are still able to lend the hand to help someone get up, being able to say good game after getting beat in the last minute that's sportsmanship.

Coaches

The ethics of coaches nowadays should be the same. First they must make sure their players are healthy and not doing anything that will hurt themselves. The second is to make sure that they are developing in the correct way.http://www3.pictures.zimbio.com/gi/Slavan+Billic+West+Ham+United+v+Accrington+dEbVsFwHi-bl.jpg

Owners

Owners have two primary jobs as well. First is to make sure their coaches aren't doing anything to hurt their players. Secondly to move the team in the correct direction. http://static2.businessinsider.com/image/4cad2e7a7f8b9aa263030400/the-red-sox-owners-think-mlb-is-socialistic-want-to-keep-their-own-revenue.jpg

Health

Health within sports is so important. When committed to a sport one should watch what they eat and not do anything to cause an injury. https://image.slidesharecdn.com/centraluniversityofecuador-120327152935-phpapp02/95/sports-and-health-by-freddy-endara-2-728.jpg?cb=1333529989

Safety

Safety within sports is something that needs to be looked into. Especially during practices, since I have experience sliding without proper attire the coach was held responsabile and shouldn't happen. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9b/Slide_padres_cubs.JPG/350px-Slide_padres_cubs.JPG

Athletes and community

Athletes represent a few things their team and their community. This is why athletes need to rethink their actions to figure out how it will affect both. http://pixel.nymag.com/imgs/daily/intelligencer/2016/09/13/13-colin-kaepernick.w600.h315.2x.jpg

Athletes and community

Along with representing your team athletes represent what their community was like. People will look at an athlete's actions as a reflection of their community. It's important for athletes to know about this and think hard on actions. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/0/03/Carmelo_Anthony_Nov_2013.jpg/250px-Carmelo_Anthony_Nov_2013.jpg

Fan behavior

Fan behavior has become a big deal recently and there needs to be a line drawn between crazy fans and superfans. Crazy fans do things that will hurt the reputation of the team and community. Super fans only help the team and community. https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/7e/e3/cb/7ee3cbf928d8a16faf65cb1ba16f9e7c.jpg

Future of sportsmanship

When thinking about the future for sportsmanship in sports Im very hopeful. I think athletes are really starting to get that when playing a team they have something in common and that's the love for the sport. Athletes are there to play and enjoy the game and giving respect to your opponents is something athletes will figure out. I picked this picture since it shows where sportsmanship should be and it keeps me positive for the future. http://www.goliath.com/sports/10-amazing-examples-of-great-sportsmanship/
