About Collin College’s Program Collin College is the first college to offer a two-year degree in Sport and Recreation Management in the state of Texas. The program is based in Frisco, also known as “Sports City USA,” home of professional teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Rattlers, Dallas Stars, FC Dallas, Frisco Rough Riders, Texas Legends, and the PGA of America. In addition to professional sports teams, the area is home to several comprehensive parks and recreation departments which oversee team sports and events.
