SCHOOLS CAN NOW RE-APPLY FOR ‘SCHOOL GAMES MARK’ FOR 2015
This is a key performance indicator
The criteria appear on www.yourschoolgames.com and can be accessed by logging on to your
Sainsbury’s School Games dashboard. The window for schools to apply opens on 03 June and will
remain open until 30 September 2015.
My tip is to check the criteria for each of the awards, decide which you are able to achieve, gather
your evidence and then complete the application. I am more than happy to help where needed.

Sports leader after school clubs
TBC in September
They are 14 or 15 years of age so will need to have a member of staff on hand and
available to support them and should only work with small numbers of students
unless they are assisting a member of staff running a larger club.
It will be for 6 weeks in the first instance. Many of them will be keen to stay for
longer and will hopefully become a real asset for your school over the year.
Please let Gavin Parkinson know the days, dates and sports that are best for your
school. We will then liaise with our students to find those who are able to get to
your school.
