In 2017-18 students of the institute participated in various sport events at zonal level and inter zonal level. Under t he gu idance and mot iva t ion o f Shri.P.V.Deshmukh, Principal of the institute the students won several prizes. Shri.P.V.Thakare, Incharge of sports, ushered and motivated the students for their success in sports.

The team became RUNNER UP in the

Zonal Basketball Event organized at Govt.

Polytechnic, Yawatmal from 02 to 03 January 2018.

Under the guidance of team manager Shri.R.M.Gharat

students won the prize.

Under the guidance of

Shri.A.S.Khone, Team Manager, the team won

WINNER title in Table Tennis zonal event held at

S.N.I.O.P.D.Pharmacy College, Pusad between 03 and

04 January 2018. The team has also participated at

Inter-zonal event. The team included Shon Thakare

(Ex.II ), Shivam Gomase(Ex.III ), Sanket Dahane

(Ex.III) and Atharwa Pawar (Ex.II).

The team became WINNER in Zonal Chess

Competition held at P.R.Pote Polytechnic, Amravati

between 05 to 06 January 2018. Under the guidance of

team manager Shri P.V.Thakare team members

Chinmay Barbade(CO II), Piyush Waychal(CO III),

Gaurav Tikekar(CR II), Prathmesh Adhavu(CR II) and

Mohit Karde (CR II) won the title.

The team became RUNNER UP in the

Zonal Cricket Event organized by Dr. Panjabrao

Deshmukh Polytechnic, Amravati from 16/01/2018 to

18/01/2018 under IEDSSA. Team manager was

Various programs were organized in the institute in the year 2018 under the guidance of P.V.Thakare, Incharge, N.S.S. Unit of the institute.

st1) On 21 June 2018 'Yoga Session' was organized in the institute on the occasion of International Yoga Day. The volunteers as well as teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute participated in this session.

st2) On 1 July 2018 Tree Plantation was organized by the NSS unit. The NSS volunteers planted the plants in the institute premises.

th3) On 24 September 2018 N.S.S. Day was celebrated by the NSS Unit of the institute. On this occasion Shipra Mankar, Director, Media & Broadcast , of RCN Digital Network, Amravati delivered a speech on 'N.S.S.and Personality Development'. The event was chaired by the principal of the institute Shri.P.V.Deshmukh.

nd4) On 2 October 2018 'Shramdan' was organized in the institute. The N.S.S. volunteers and the employees of the institute actively participated in the shramdan.

Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi a debate competition

was organized on 24.12.2018. The topic of the debate

thFor celebrating 150 birth anniversary of Rashtrapita

Mahatma Gandhi Singing Competition was organized

on 24.12.2018. The program was organized by Prof.

Ku. M. J. Khonde and judged by Prof. P. V. Thakare.

st6. "Rashtriya Ekta Diwas" was celebrated on 31

October 2018 on the occasion of birth anniversary of

first home minister of independent India Sardar

Wallabh bhai Patel. On this day "Rashtriya Sankalp

Diwas" was also celebrated on the death anniversary

of Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

1. Annual Social Gathering :Annual Social Gathering "CËH$f©" was organized

by Prof. Ms. S. S. Patil on 21.01.2018 and 22.01.2018. The inaugural function was done by the auspicious hands of Hon'ble Shri Harshawardhan P. Deshmukh, President of Shri Shivaji Education Society, Amravati. Various competitions were conducted during two days. During inaugural function the topper student of year 2017 was felicitated by giving Gold Medal sponsored by Principal, Shri P. V. Deshmukh in the memory of his father late Prof. W. A. Deshmukh.2. Parent meet was organized on 29/9/2018 by Prof. M. J. Khonde, Academic Coordinator. Most of the parents were present for the meeting. Various issues were discussed as per the agenda of meeting. Parent committee was formed to communicate and to resolve the various problems of students. Meet was presided by Hon'ble Principal Shri P. V. Deshmukh.

th3. On 26 November 2018 "Samvidhan Diwas" was celebrated. On this occasion all teaching staff and non-teaching staff read the preamble of constitution.

th4. 150 birth anniversary of Rashtrapita Mahatma

ndGandhi was celebrated on 2 October 2018. On this occasion Hon'ble Principal Shri P. V. Deshmukh garlanded the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. Prof. M. J. Khonde, convener of the program put light on the life and contribution of Rashtrapita Mahatma Gandhi and his role for making the India an Independent Nation.

presented a paper on "The Role of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in Water Resource Management"

Mr. G. R. Gosavi's technical paper titled “Mathematically modeled Algorithm for

Intelligently customized Optimization of an ERP” was selected for IEEE scopus index Journal

and presented by him, in Computer Engineering's topmost IEEE International conference held

at Pune during 16/08/2018 to 18/08/2018.

Mr. G. R. Gosavi presented the technical paper titled “The Optimal ERP efficacy

in Cloud based and Non au courant Framework” in SPRINGER International conference held

at SVERI during 14/12/2018 to 15/12/2018 and was selected for SPRINGER International

Journal.
