• Michelin starred Chef, Glynn Purnell, presents a unique, live culinary

event in front of an audience of 400 guests at Aston Villa Football Club,

hosted by Gregg Wallace, with special guests on stage

• Glynn’s specially designed four course menu will be cooked and served to

guests by the talented team at Aston Villa’s award-winning Restaurant VMF,

under the expert supervision of Executive Chef, Pete Reed

• All proceeds from the event will go towards Cure Leukaemia, the

pioneering, Birmingham-based charity of which Glynn is a Trustee

experience complete with fantastic entertainment in front of an audience of 400 guests at Aston Villa

Football Club.

Following the success of last year’s event, I’ll be inviting a few of my friends from TV to join me on stage,

hosted by Gregg Wallace, to share plenty of stories and laughs as I prepare four specially designed

courses for guests to enjoy. With fantastic food, drink and entertainment until the early hours, it’ll be a

Friday night to remember.

Celebrity involvementGlynn Purnell

Glynn has been a driving force in Birmingham’s culinary scene ever since securing the city’s first

Michelin star for Jessica’s in 2005. Today, he is the proud owner of three establishments in

Birmingham including the Michelin starred Purnell’s, and is a familiar face to many through his

regular appearances on Saturday Kitchen, Great British Menu, Food and Drink and the BBC Good

Food Show. Glynn is a proud Trustee of Cure Leukaemia.

Gregg Wallace

Gregg Wallace is a fruit and vegetable expert, writer, media presenter and greengrocer.

He is probably best known for co-presenting and judging BBC 1’s MasterChef along

with John Torode.

Gregg told us: “I can’t wait to join Glynn and guests in Birmingham on Friday 2 October,

and I’m already looking forward to the menu. I just hope he’s got plenty of desserts planned.”

About Cure Leukaemia – Glynn’s chosen charity

Founded in 2003 by Professor Charlie Craddock, Cure Leukaemia helps to bring

pioneering drug and transplant treatments to blood cancer patients throughout the

Midlands. The charity helps finance the world class Centre for Clinical Haematology

at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, to fund lifesaving clinical trials to treat

patients with blood cancer who have exhausted standard treatment options. To date,

Cure Leukaemia has helped to treat over 4000 patients by leveraging over £23million

worth of revolutionary drugs and funding crucial research nurses to administer

these trials.
