GENERAL INFORMATION
Organizers
The Spanish Society of Virology, SEV, (http://sevirologia.es/) was founded in 1987, and aims to study and
increase the knowledge on virology, promoting teaching and research, and advising the Institutions that
require it. It also has the responsibility of convening meetings and congresses and promoting activities
anywhere in Spain.
The Global Virus Network, GVN, (http://gvn.org/) was founded in 2011, and is a coalition comprised of
leading virologists spanning more than 20 countries worldwide, all working to advance knowledge about
how viruses make us sick and to develop drugs and vaccines to prevent illness and death.
The Institut de Recerca I Tecnologia Agroalimentàries (IRTA), and specifically its Research Program in Animal
Health (Centre de Recerca en Sanitat Animal, CReSA), (http://www.cresa.cat/) is the local organizer of the XV
Congreso Nacional de Virología of the SEV and 11th Annual Meeting of the GVN.
The Event – Why support the congress?
The XV Congress of the SEV together with the 11th GVN annual Meeting represents a unique opportunity to gather scientists from all over the world including Spanish virologists. During 3 days more than 300 professionals will attend to the congress, being a perfect scenario to inform about the new advances in all kind of products and services regarding virology.
Who attends this meeting?
PhD Students, Junior researchers, Senior researchers, directors of researchers centres and institutions, from human, animal and plant sectors. The congress is open to all professionals and stakeholders with interest on virology in its broader sense.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATION
Grupo Pacifico has block-booked rooms in a range of hotels in different price categories for the dates from 9th to 12 June 2019. Hotel reservations will be booked on a first-come first-served basis. We advise all participants to request their hotel reservations as soon as possible to guarantee accommodation, before 1st May 2019. The reservation platform on the website allows bookings up to five hotel rooms. SPECIFIC SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
CONGRESS BAGS
Sponsorship of the official congress bags will guarantee that your logo will be printed on the bag, alongside the SEV logo, congress name and dates. A minimum donation of 2.000 € is required. VAT not included. Exclusive sponsorship of the bag is available for 3.500 € (VAT not included), provided no other companies have taken up sponsorship beforehand.
LANYARDS FOR BADGES
Sponsorship of the official congress lanyards for badges will guarantee that your logo will be printed on the lanyards. A minimum donation of 1.800 € is required. VAT not included.
CONGRESS BOOKLET ON A PEN DRIVE
The pen drive will be branded with the sponsor´s logo. 450 pen drives will be produced. A minimum donation of 2.500 €. Such sponsorship is exclusive. VAT not included.
PRINTED CONGRESS PROGRAMME
Sponsorship of the printed main congress programme overview will guarantee that your logo will be printed on the programme. 500 units will be produced A minimum donation of 2.000 € is required. Exclusive sponsorship of the printed main congress programme overview is available for 3.000 € VAT not included.

CONGRESS BAG FLYERS / INSERTS
For a flat fee of 800 € a single flyer or leaflet will be inserted into the congress bag, ensuring that all delegates will receive your promotional material. VAT not included. Your flyers or leaflets must be received in Barcelona before 10.00 hrs on Friday 7 June 2019. Materials received after this time cannot be inserted into the delegate bags but will be made available to delegates at the registration desk.

POSTERS:

Submit your poster presentation for printing and transfer directly to the event and avoid traveling with your poster.

LOGO ON POSTERS BOARDS (exclusive sponsoring)
More than 100 abstracts are expected to be submitted. Poster boards will be situated in the exhibition area and will be on display for the duration of the Symposium. Sponsorship benefits:
-The sponsor´s name and/or logo will be displayed prominently on the top left-hand corner of every poster board (one colour) -Acknowledgement as sponsor on the Symposium website

EXHIBITION
Exhibition stands will be placed on the Auditorium Foyer from Sunday 9th to Wednesday 12th 2019 to ensure maximum exposure. Two exhibitor passes are included in the cost of the stand with lunch and attendance of the Welcome Reception giving your representatives the opportunity to meet and talk to delegates in relaxed setting. Please note that access to the lecture halls is not, nor is the Congress Dinner on Tuesday, June 12th 2019. The cost for exhibition space (6sqm) is 1.000€, VAT not included. VAT
All companies are required to pay VAT at the prevailing rate, currently 21%.
CANCELLATION
In case of cancellation before 1st May 2019, a refund of 40% will be granted. After that date, the total amount paid will be charged as cancellation fees. Companies participating in the Congress are required to take out appropriate insurance.
