Golf Classic

Every year, the SJHF Golf Classic Tournament hosts 36 teams from all over Northern California and usually sells out within the first few weeks. Last year nearly 50 businesses and individuals sponsored the event, and with nearly 400 guests and volunteers participating in the combined Dinner and Tourna-ment event, this is our largest fundraiser of the year.

As we enter into the 9th year of this event, we want to continue our tradition of putting together a fun-filled day for our friends and neighbors.

The Dinner and Live Auction will be held on Thurs-day, June 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The Golf Classic tournament will be Friday, June 21 - check in begins at 10 a.m.

A new Linear Accelerator!

St. Joseph Hospital currently houses two linear accelerators that can treat the majority of cancers. These machines have served our community well for a number of years; however, in order to maintain the same high quality cancer care currently offered, it is essential to bring the latest technology to St. Joseph Hospital. A new linear accelerator for the Cancer Program would enable us to treat cancers never be-fore treated in Humboldt County.
