From humble beginnings Las Artistas has developed into one of the regions premiere arts organizations, connecting artists and collectors in inspired settings.

Key FactsFounded in 1970, Las Artistas is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization with a mission to provide arts education opportunities and promote an appreciation for fine crafts and art within El Paso and southern New Mexico communities.

Las Artistas provides venues for local, regional and national artists, as well as emerging artists, to show and sell their work.

Las Artistas supports arts students through arts education and the opportunity to participate in the annual Las Artistas Art & Fine Crafts show.

Many of Las Artistas’ juried members are art educators; they share their experience by teaching classes, workshops, and giving demonstrations at many venues including area schools and universities

Las Artistas is perceived as one of the premiere arts organizations in El Paso and Southern New Mexico; a large and dedicated membership ensures that events are high-quality and well-attended.

Why Las Artistas? Las Artistas brings the “best of the best” to its annual juried arts show. The show, which is held the week before Thanksgiving, features the work of more than 100 artists from El Paso and New Mexico – and beyond. The show is known for recognizing and providing market entry for emerging local artists.

As Las Artistas enters its 47th year we continue to add and refine our events and offerings to provide relevant art experiences for the artists, students and connoisseurs of today and tomorrow.

The art show offers a unique collaboration of creative trendsetters and art collectors in a way that celebrates and supports the artists who shape our collective cultural heritage. Las Artistas is promoted throughout the year with an integrated marketing program that has allowed the Art and Fine Crafts Show to grow, year after year.

The introduction of two related events, Taste of Las Artistas and Sneak Preview Party, expands the organization’s market and contributes to brand-awareness.
