The Kansas City Flying Disc Club, a registered not-for-profit corpora-tion, was established in 1988 with these goals: to promote the sport of disc golf, as well as other flying disc sports by (1) holding events

and leagues for players of all skill levels; (2) issuing a newsletter to connect the membership, as well as other similar flying disc organizations, the media, and parks departments; (3) working in cooperation with the various park departments to maintain and improve the current courses, and to procure new courses. We encourage you join the KCFDC and become part of the growth of disc golf in Kansas City. The game, while relatively new, needs a strong club to connect effectively with the various governments on which our courses are located. We are one of the strongest clubs in the country, and we get things done.
