Originally born out of an enthusiasm for having fun in the outdoors,No Fuss Events is renowned as an events company with adifference – running fantastic, challenging events for all abilities.

No Fuss doesn't just run events, it provides an authenticexperience for all its customers. Through professionalism, attentionto detail and a genuine sense of fun. No Fuss Events has becomeone of the country's top event organisations and is an excitingbrand that people want to be a part of.

The business has shown strong growth over its first 8 yearsand this is to continue in 2014. With more events increasingnumbers of participants, and in 2014, the new portfolio ensuresthat No Fuss Events will be expanding audience reach through theyear.

What are No Fuss Events all about?

Who are No Fuss?Our management team has the breadth of knowledgeand experience to ensure continued success andexpansion of the business. Frazer Coupland and DavidMunro have run the company since 2005 and havegained an enormous amount of experience and kudosfor events in that time. When the team are not runningtheir own events they will be actively assisting in aconsultative role or event facilities hire, logistics ormanpower. Both keen outdoor enthusiasts, they havedrive, commitment and work ethic to ensure events areprofessionally run, successful and enjoyed by everyone.

What exactly does No Fuss do?No Fuss Events run fun, challenging outdoor events for allabilities. The emphasis for all of the events listed is firmlyon participation and enjoyment. Creating fantasticcustomer experiences is the key to the continued successof No Fuss Events. Customer feedback is the key to NoFuss Events' success to date and the increased numbers inprevious years gives us the confidence to launch thisaction-packed line-up for the 2014 season:

SCOTTISH ENDURO SERIESNew for 2014, No Fuss Events, alongside Innerleithen MTB racing, bring an enduroracing series to Scotland. We've hand-picked the best riding spots in the country to makethis a truly Scottish series. Very similar to a car rally, timed stages (climb or descent) arelinked with non-timed liaison stages. Possibly the best way of racing with your mates,the Scottish Enduro Series gets the balance right between great riding, timedcompetition and a good time out on the bike with your friends.

WINTER FEAST DUATHLON SERIESThe Winter Feast Duathlons have been extremely popular since they were introduced.Aimed at beginners who want to step up from the Wee Triathlon without too muchdiscomfort, this will be more of a challenge but the extra effort will be worth it for thesatisfaction at the finish line. A 5km walk or run (trail or beach), then a 22km cycle(road) followed by a 5km walk or run to the finish. Ideal for individuals and teams, andfor 2014, all 3 events will count towards a series result.

11th January 2014 – Glen Nevis15th February 2014 – Arisaig

5th April 2014 – Nevis Range

WEE TRI- 22ND MARCH 2014Moved slightly later in the year than its traditional season opener status, The WeeTriathlon is a pool-based triathlon involving a 400m swim, 10 mile mountain bike in GlenNevis and a 3 mile cross country run. Back for 2014 proves its popularity in 2013, bestget your entries in quick as this one fills up quick.

BUACHAILLE SPORTIVE MOR/BEAG - 26TH APRIL 2014Following two successful years of the Buachaille Sportive Mor/Beag is the winner wehoped it would be in 2012. Beginning and ending at Glencoe Mountain Resort, theroutes of either 86 or 106 miles shows you some of Scotland's finest landscapes,including, as the name suggests, The Great Herdsman of Etive – Buachaille Etive Mor.The route also includes the fantastic views of Lismore and Mull before returning viathe spectacular vista of Rannoch Moor. Certainly one to remember.....and return to!

ADVENTURE TRIATHLON - 10TH MAY 2014A new event for 2014, the Adventure Triathlon aims to bring, as the name suggests, awee bit of adventure to the triathlon party, while offering something different for thosenot confident swimming in open water. Running in conjunction with Those familiar withour Arisaig round of the Winter Feast Duathlon will no doubt recognise the 5km trailwalk or run) and the 22km road cycle. Added to the ingredients is a sea kayak (distanceTBC).

10 UNDER THE BEN - 21ST JUNE 2014Our flagship event sees it's 10th Anniversary in 2014 and promises to be a great eventto celebrate this fact. Sticking to the classic mountain bike endurance marathon formatof a 10 mile lap and a 10 hour time limit. Take your pick of whether to race solo, as apair, a trio or a quad, muster your team mates and get ready for one of the best races ofthe year. 10 Under the Ben will once again make up the opening event of the 2014 FortWilliam Fat Tyre Weekend.

THE HIGHLAND WARRIOR - 30th August 2014The Highland Warrior is No Fuss Events brilliantly epic half ironman triathlon. Back in2014 for the fourth year, this event is fast becoming a classic on many triathletes’calendars. A big part of the magic comes from the location of each element. The 1.9kmswim takes place in Loch Linnhe just next to the ‘Old Fort’, which is the location of T1and T2. From here cyclists leave Fort William heading east towards the Creag MeagaidhNational Park, passing stunning views of the Grey Corries and Loch Laggan. Afterretracing the route back to the Old Fort, completing 90km on their bikes, the HighlandWarriors then set off to run 21km through Glen Nevis in the shadow of Ben Nevis. Aroute filled with history and beauty, this event should not be missed.

THE WEE BATTLER - 30th August 2014New for 2014, the Wee Battler is the Highland Warrior’s smaller cousin. This event willtake place on the same day and will follow a course of approximately half the distancesof the Highland Warrior. The Wee Battler will be perfect for anybody looking to step itup a notch from sprint distance tri’s or for those who are aiming towards half or evenfull Ironman tri’s. Even if this is your first triathlon, No Fuss will ensure you receive awarm welcome and we will do our utmost to make sure the day is smooth and veryenjoyable (all you will have to do is keep your legs moving!).

TOUR DE BEN NEVIS - 20TH SEPTEMBER 2014Now a mainstay of the No Fuss calendar the Tour de Ben Nevis in 2014 stays true to itsword of 'bringing mountain biking back to the mountains.' A 72km circumnavigation ofBen Nevis from Fort William, the Outdoor Capital of the UK. This is one of the country'slongest point-to-point events; an MTB endurance and mountain marathon event allrolled into one.

WORLD SOLO 24 HOUR - 11TH/12TH OCTOBER 2014The 24 hour race will start 'Le Mans ' style at 12noon on Saturday and run till 12noon onSunday. The route will start from and finish at the Nevis Range complex, snaking andclimbing up Aonach Mor and deep into Leanachan Forest and onto the world famousWitch’s Trail. With at least half of the event taking place in the dark, the course has beendesigned to be ride-able for the full 24 hours regardless of weather conditions. Thecourse will have a good mixture of forestry road and singletrack. Come and join us for aweekend of Endurance Mountain biking at one of the best venues this country has tooffer. Enjoy the event with friends and family as well as the other competitors and havefun at these friendly events. The course will be about 8 miles (13 Km) in length and willbe 100% rideable.

Through an active campaign in 2013 No Fuss aredelighted to report an increase in female participation, continuing on from a doublein numbers in 2011.
