Objectives As strategic opportunities arise, Comcast Business will engage in a variety of event tactics to secure fresh, meaningful customer entertainment and education. These tactics are usually one-offs, occurring only once a year, and have been added to the event calendar to accomplish a specific goal or appeal to a particular audience: Houston BBQ Cook-Off Comcast Business is proud to sponsor the World’s Championship BBQ Contest, where more than 250 teams of barbeque aficionados compete to be the best at BBQ. The BBQ Cook-off precedes the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, the world’s largest of its kind with 2.6 million+ people visiting the grounds at NRG Stadium in 2018. Comcast Business hosts a VIP, invitation-only tent complete with music, food and beverage, and good, old- fashioned Texas charm. Comcast Business customers and prospects can retreat to the privacy of our sponsored tent, which is by invitation only. The Comcast Business hospitality area is located on Rodeo Drive and Committee Street inside the World Championship Bar-B-Que area. The tent will have a great view of the main music stage, and Guests will have access to private restrooms and complimentary food and beverage, away from the crowds and lines of the general audience. Attendees are welcome to come and go from the tent as they please – to enjoy the fun and activities of the Cook-off and Carnival, or enjoy the exclusivity of the VIP lifestyle. Beats ‘N EatsThe Beat ‘n Eats Food + Music Event brings together the very best in food and music for a truly one-of-a-kind experience to honor, raise support and create opportunities for our veterans and service members. This unique, upscale event features a family style, seven-course dinner presented by top celebrity and local chefs accompanied by live music performances from both established and emerging artists. Beats ‘N Eats will be held in Philadelphia at The Fillmore Philadelphia in 2019; proceeds raised from the event will support the efforts of the Robert Irvine Foundation (RIF).

next 120 days• No account that is engaged in an active RFP• No Indirect/Resellers/Authorized ConnectorsUsing the above nomination link and invitation criteria, Sales must nominate customers/prospects for executive review prior to issuing invitations to Guests to register. Nominations that meet the above criteria will be approved on a first come, first served basis. Marketing will aggregate the remaining nominations and submit to leadership for approval. Once approved, invitations will be shared with Sales to distribute to their customers. Guests will have until approximately two weeks prior to event to register, which locks in their spot. At that time, all unused tickets are reallocated based on demand. If a customer who was approved to attend did not register in that time period, they forfeit their tickets and will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

Joined by Comcast Business executives, customers/prospects will be treated to a sumptuous feast, prepared by local and celebrity chefs – past featured chefs include “Iron Chef” Morimoto, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valestro, and Philadelphia talent Marc Vetri among others.

Comcast Business Technology SummitIn 2019, Comcast Business will host the 2nd annual Technology Summit in partnership with NASCAR. This one-day thought leadership event is designed for C-Level IT professionals to discuss the evolving technology landscape, leaning on NASCAR ecosystem partners to share the challenges they face. Topics may include how they build small cities (and communications infrastructures to support 100,000 fans) at the tracks on race days, the importance of meeting the race teams’ mission-critical connectivity requirements, increased fan expectations, and how technology is enabling them to meet growing demands on both sides of Pit Road. Guests will also have the chance to enjoy a first-class excursion with VIP tours and celebrity meet-and-greet. And, they are invited to stay through the weekend to enjoy the action during Sunday’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race.

A Day in the LifeThe Comcast Business Technology Summit will be held at a private location in Sonoma/Napa, in conjunction with the 2019 Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Sonoma Raceway. Guests are invited to arrive on Thursday, June 20, and to be our guests through the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, June 23. The Technology Summit will feature a full-day of thought leadership programming, complete with keynotes by industry leaders and Comcast visionaries. In addition, the day will include lunch prepared by celebrity chef Robert Irvine and conclude with a tour of a local winery.
