JAMES HICKMAN

On 1ST October a number of thegala squad swimmers were invitedto attend a session with Olympicswimmer James Hickman, alongwith members of LittlehamptonSC. The morning offered thechance for the swimmers to havephotos taken with James beforeentering the pool for a 1 hoursession covering all aspects ofswimming. Dressed in an all bodyswim suit James certainly lookedlike an Olympic swimmer, andeven more so, as he powered downthe pool in around 28 secondsdoing butterfly kick on his backunder the water. The sessioncovered, streamlining, diving, stroke technique and a 2 lengthrace for 5 lucky swimmers againstJames. Just a bit of fun to end thesession which should prove to bean excellent experience for thosein attendance.
