His torch of Sufi thoughts were carried by his successor and  several others such as Saint Kabir,Guru Nanak.This Great SAINT Farid  can be truly called the founder of Punjabi iterature, making Punjabi culture older than Hindi,Urdu and other languages of current times.Farid is one of the founders of the spiritual knowledge Movement in the current era of time. He is worshipped because of his spirituality & of simplicity and piety life. Not only has Farid influenced Hindus but he is one of the major inspirations behind Sikhism as well Muslims.

SAINT FARID

He was a saint and scholor of spiritualism. Great Saint Farid known as Baba Sheikh Farid as he is called all over in north India, and Pakistan. He lived about 850 years ago. Baba Farid's Great Grand father was son of Farrukh Shah, the emperor of Kabul.

LORD MAHABIR

Mahavira ,The Great spiritual leader of Jainism. who lived about 500 years before Christ.. He is symbol of freedom from desires and craving and great mediator .He preached that simplicity, non violence and love to all living being of universe are basic tools to still thoughts of mind and entry point for self-realization as well perfection in meditation  leading to salvation
